I groaned as I woke up in my comfy bed.Damn bastard put me here.I turned to my alarm clock and saw a small note folded next to it.I quickly grab the note and ripped it open.Dear Skye,I decided to head back to our pack.Its still yours also.I love you and the child, love Brandon. He left me.Without a fight.I guess I got what I wished for.I whipped out my cell and texted Olivia,Come quick.Bring ice creams tubs.My answer of course,was an emoji.What the hell do they mean!
I glanced back to the neat note,spotting a phone number lightly scribbled on it under his name.I type it in my contacts and debate on whether or not to call him.My finger lightly presses the call button,so here I am calling him.I can do this.Ring.No way in hell I can.ring.Man the f*** up.Stop being a wimp."Hello?".That one simple word sent shivers down my spine and made my toes wiggle."Um……………hi.Its me,Skye"."I can recongnize your voice from anywhere.So,I knew it was you".Well,soooorrry for being polite."Dddooo you want to hang out at my place tonight",I stutter."Yes! I mean sure",he yells into the phone.Over excited much. Be nice to mate.Fine.
Yeah,I'm that nice.Olivia barges into my room with my favorite ice cream,chocolate chip cookie dough"Be here at 5:30".With that,I hang up."Sup girl"."Hey" was my answer.I grabbed my spoon out of my drawer and popped the lid off.Digging in,I let tears trail down my face.Letting my mind wander off,I begin to think of Brandon,or more likely my wolf.Stop sending dirty things of him to me! Why,mate is super hot. Your hopeless. No,you are. That's all my wolf has been doing since we left.It truly annoys me sometimes.Not all the time,but sometimes.I mean I left on a cruel note.A knee to the groin.Ouch."Care to tell me first,why you wanted 20 tubs of ice-cream and why you're crying",damn you Olivia,pull me out of my thoughts,REALLY."Mates suck,dear youngster"see Olivia hasn't found her mate yet,so she's a lucky goose."All I've done since mine is cry,get angry,and run like a coward",I conclude while waving my spoon in the air.
"You and your ice-cream,I need to seprate yall ",she randomly says,making us double over in laughter.Gasping for air,I cling to my bookshelf,trying not to fall to the ground laughing again."You two act like twins,are you sure your not!?",we both whip our heads to see the Luna chuckling to herself.We both smirk and-at the same time-scream "HELLO LUNA". We bounce away from our tubs and tackle her into a huge hug."Well,I came to talk with Skye,so Olivia,may you excuse us?".Olivia just nods and walks back to her ice-cream tub,digging in.
The Luna,turns out her name is Leah,and I walked outside into the forest."Luna,may I ask,why do you need to talk to me?"."Why did you leave your mate Skye.Did he hurt you or something".By this time,we were deep in the woods,on a lakes dock.One more step,and both of us would've fell in.I sat down and she followed suit."Well,it first started when he cheated……………And that's why I left him".She had a blank look on her face."I'm sorry Skye",she says.I just give a soft smile before turning to the lake."For some reasons,nature has always calmed me down.Especially lakes and forests",I suddenly blurt.We both catch eyes and began chuckling our heads off.Could I be anymore random."But Luna,should I give him a chance",I ask.The air around us tensed."Its up to you,Skye.I know deep in your heart you know the answer.Look for it".I look through my curtain of hair before,to both our surprises,hug her.
And I never,ever hug people.I'M BECOMING A SOFTIE! Your welcome. I scoff at my wolf before staring at the deep blue color of the lake.Traitor tears slowly trail down my face.Why am I even crying! Damn pregnant hormones.Damn horny hormones.
