we get out the car , walking side by side into the small , almost empty mcdonalds .
we ordered and waited by the soda machines to get our food .
i leaned against the counter as izzy went through her phone .
" do you have any socials ? "
she asked me , turning off her phone and sliding it down her back pocket .
" funny you ask that . "
i smirked at her .
then we our number got called for the food and i went with izzy to get the trays .
" thanks . "
i smiled at the employee , placing down two dollars .
i held the tray and walked to a booth in the corner of the place .
i set it down , sitting in front of izzy .
" dig in . "
i said , grabbing my fries .
she quietly laughed as she took her food and i gathered the rest of mine .
" we literally just met and we're already eating together . i like this friendship already . "
she mentioned .
" oh shit . "
i laughed , stuffing fries in my mouth .
then her laughing at my actions .
" yeah we're gonna be great friends . "
she smiled , taking a sip of her drink .
" so , do you have any socials ? "
she asked again .
i choked on my fries and quickly drank some of my soda .
i motioned her to give me her phone . her handing it to me , i went onto instagram and
typed in "benkrotv" . before pressing follow , i gave her the phone .
" ooo my best friend's a model . "
she smiled , pressing the follow button .
i laughed as i took out my phone , seeing the notification .
i pressed the follow back button and gave her my phone so she could type in her number .
she gave me back my phone and i changed her contact name to ; izzy ❤️
" i'm finished . "
she said , standing up and throwing away her trash .
i followed behind her and we left , going back into my car .
" thanks . " she smiled at me .
" anytime baby . "
i smiled at her , starting the car , but then my phone began ringing .
" fuck it's paul . "
i sighed , pressing accept and putting the phone up to my ear .
i could tell izzy was uncomfortable because she scooted a little farther away
from me and began tapping her finger on the arm rest of the door .
" ok . i'll come get you right now . "
i said to paul .
" thanks . "
he said , hanging up .
i turned off my phone and put it away .
" sorry if i made you uncomfortable .. "
i apologized .
" no , haha , that wasn't the case . "
she assured me .
" okay , well i need to go get paul . would you like to be dropped off at home or
something ? or you can consider spending the night at my house , we have an extra room . "
i offered her .
" i'll direct you to my house . "
she said .
" okay . "
i said , trying not to feel sad in front of her .
" okay , so do you know where cherry street is ? "
she asked me , as i began driving out of the parking lot .
" uhh yes . "
i hesitated .
" ok , so on that street and i'll tell you once we're there . "
she smiled .
