The Wedding (The beginning of The Lavey Revolution)

I stared down at my dress, tears of joy blurring my vision. I spent months in search of the perfect dress for my wedding day, and this one found me buried deep in a rack of dresses at a hole in the wall thrift store in France.

The dress was everything I dreamed it to be, simplistic in design but jaw dropping, fit to every curve and dip of my body as if it was sewn specifically for me. It was off the shoulder, to show off the tattoos I have scattered along my body, and the skirt was so huge and elegant, I felt like the queen of darkness.

"The dress looks like it was made for you and this day." My best friend, Sylvia Leycore, is sitting in the chair beside me as I stare admiringly at my reflection in the full size mirror in front of me.

"Of course darling, it's perfect. As is my hair, thanks to you." I smile at her lovingly, thankful to have a friend who has stuck by my side through everything.

"Perks of being best friends with the best hairdresser in the Underworld." She slyly winks as she stands, looking every inch the confident bombshell she is. I handpicked her dress, and she couldn't be happier with the choice I made.

We have been a dynamic duo our entire existence. The women that every Night Crawler looks up to. We're beautiful, rich, and most of all we are humble yet sophisticated and unreachable. Who wouldn't want to be us? And now, I am finally being wed, the only thing Sylvia and I have done separately.

"Sylvia, darling, do you think that this marriage will actually legitimize The Revolution? With my blood being Night Crawler and Siren, it will unite the land and sea. And Dax is Night Crawler and Lycanthrope Blood. Together we're unstoppable and so will our children."

Yes, I am pregnant with twins. See, in the underworld children are different. They grow to full maturity in only a years time, and we stop aging after we turn 21. Many of us breed for the purpose of having strength in numbers, but as I touch my still flat tummy, I can almost swear that I feel the flutter of my babies, restless and ready to be born and fulfill their purpose.
