On a train heading towards Manhattan, sits a blonde girl with her head leaning against the window. A look of disparity fits her face, as she sees the tall buildings become bigger and taller.

The faint sound of "Young Folks" by Peter Bjorn and John, faintly plays in the background.

At the same time, a tall, shaggy haired girl walks towards her driver with her carry on right by her side. She glances at all the buildings, absolutely nervous.

"Ms. Waldorf, let me assist you with that." The driver says as he takes off his hat to greet her.

Occurring simultaneously, sits two siblings, a male with a buzzcut, and a petite blonde girl, sitting on a train in anticipation.

"Hey Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here, and I have the biggest news ever. One of my many sources -melanie91- sends us this; spotted at Grand Central, bags in hand, Serena Van Der Woodsen."

Serena makes her way up the steps of Grand Central.

"Was it only a year ago our "it" girl mysteriously disappeared for "boarding school"? And just as suddenly, she's back. Don't believe me? See for yourselves."

A picture is then uploaded to the website of Serena overlooking Grand Central.

"Lucky for us, melanie91 sent proof. Thanks for the photo, Mel."

Seemingly, right next to her arrives a rugged looking man, also overlooking Grand Central.

On the other side of the city, the mysterious girl with shaggy hair is sitting comfortably in the backseat of a blacked out limousine. She stared at her phone with confusion.

"I still don't understand what the point of this website is." She mumbles to herself.

It's not like she voluntarily wanted to search up a website named "Gossip Girl". But, her favorite cousin of all time shared links and pictures to everything "big" in this city, in excitement.

And who in their right minds would say no to the feisty brunette?

As her fingers scroll down the newest post, she stops at the sight of a pretty blonde girl.

"Woah." She says, in slight awe.

Back at Grand Central Station, the two siblings had found their way off their stop and began their search for someone.

"Dan, Jenny, over here!" The rugged man from before yells out towards them.

"Hey, dad!" Jenny yells out in excitement, hurrying over towards him, as Dan waves and lugs around the left over luggage.

"Hey, you made it!" The dad says, as he brings bother his children into a warm embrace.

"How was your weekend? How's your mom?"

"She's fine." Dan says, almost too quickly.

"She's good." Jenny smiles.

Her eyes widen, "Uh, fine and good."

Dan looks her way, "She's- she's good and- and she's fine."

Their dad stares at them in slight disappointment, "Like, "maybe I should've never left Manhattan" fine, or "taking a time-out from my marriage was the best idea I ever had" fine?"

Dan sighs, "Dad, you know what? I-I am, uh, I'm starving."

Their dad sees the look in his eyes and decides to drop the harsh subject, "Let's go home. I'm cooking."

As they begin walking, Dan's life seemingly pauses as he meets the sight the pretty blonde girl that he's had a crush on for ages. She looks lost and confused, but still so effortlessly beautiful.
