Taylor comes back to the room. "You like Mahog too? Why didn't you tell me...?" He asks shocked.
"Because I knew how much she meant to you. And how much you liked her...." I reply shyly.
"Oh. Well, right now she's in the middle of trying to decide who to pick."
"Meaning?"
"You, me, Cameron and Sammy."
"Oh... We all like her?"
"Apparently.... I'm freaking out about who she's gonna pick."
"I hope she picks you." I say encouragingly.
"No bro, I hope she picks you." Taylor says playing fair.
"Well..... May the best guy win...."
"We aren't gonna win her if we just sit around the hotel room praying she picks us. Wanna watch a movie?"
"Sure." I laugh.
We end up deciding on watching 21 Jump Street because #Life. Taylor and I quote a bunch of parts. (Some aren't necessarily "right on" but we tried at least. Trying counts. Right...?)
"Son, put your arm down! I take that as a threat...."
"Are you two high?"
"Whoa... When did I get stabbed? THATS AWESOME!"
"Holy shit! This is what you guys do in ap chemistry?! Let's do it again!"
"I learned this in ap chem...."
"You took a bullet for me...... Yeah I'm really regretting that right now...."
When the movie is practically over (the only part we will miss is when Jonah Hill and Brie Larson's characters kiss), my phone goes off.
FROM: Queen Bee Mahog 😘
Hey. I've made my decision. I need y'all to come to my room.
I look nervously at Taylor. He's typing a reply back. So I decide to type a reply back.
TO: Queen Bee Mahog 😘
Ok. See you soon. ❤️
I look at Taylor again. "Good luck Taylor."
"Good luck bro."
"May the best guy win." We say together and leave our room and head to Mahogany's to see what her decision is. Fingers crossed everything turns out okay.
I hope she makes the right decision and there's no hard feelings- whoever she picks.
