Alaia's POV
Greece..... oh goodness it's such a wonderful place. I just can't believe that I'm actually here after 13 hours of flight.
Santorini, towering cliffs, inky waters, whitewashed villages and the absolute beautiful beaches. I think that I have, at last, reached heaven. It's utterly bewitching.
I checked in the hotel, took a fresh warm shower and decided to have dinner and sleep so that I could wake up fresh in the morning.
The next day I set out to explore this beauty. The hoteliers brought over the car that Adam had hired for me.
My first stop was the Oia village. God I have happy that my hotel wasn't any far away from the heart of the city.
I could feel the cool breeze rushing through my hair as I drove.
I got out of the car and saw the magnificent scene right in front of me. It was so dramatic. I overlooked the caldera beach with its white foamy waters rushing its waves to the shore.
I began imbibing this new experience of exploration as I walked around.
Ryan's POV
Greece is one of my favorite places that I love to visit and that is the reason I have my villa there. My villa's big with a nice pool, garden and everything and the ultimate thing is, that it's sea facing.
I landed in Greece after 13 hours. I was so tired just sitting in the flight. On the airport, I booked a cab and gave him the address to my place. It took almost 30 minutes to reach. I paid the cab driver and took out the keys from my duffel bag and opened the gate to my own world.
I took a minute to absorb how much I missed being here. After I opened the front door of the villa and entered, I put the bag and keys on my wooden dining table, took off my jacket and tossed it on the couch. I threw the curtains open and through the glass sliding doors went outside into my grand balcony from where I could see the entire view of the ocean and rocky mountains afar.
I opened a bottle a wine and poured it in the glass and went to sit on the couch quietly enjoying the serenity. In the middle of that I heard my phone ringing. I checked it and, it was from the office. I didn't even bother to pick that up.
Didn't these people know the meaning of a vacation?
I was tired and exhausted from work that I needed some peace that was unfortunately hard to seek.
I ignored the phone and escaped to my outdoor shower. It's a dark wooden enclosure with a lush of greenery in the backdrop, a stony tiled circular floor, plants and palm trees nearby to give the effect of nature. I removed my clothes and crouched on the ground with my hands on the keens when I again heard my phone ringing.
After the shower I put on my bathrobe and went inside to make myself some dinner. I decide to have something light. Halfway through cutting bread my phone rang again.
I switched on the television and ranked up the volume really high, ate the dinner and went off to sleep.
***
The next morning I woke up I was feeling a little groggy.
Why don't they understand? I am a human being. I need to stimulate my mind. Have they all turned into robots where they have stopped feeling anything at all?
I made myself some coffee and went to the balcony when again my thoughts were stuck by the ringing of the phone. And that, was enough for me. I grabbed my car keys and my house keys and left the villa. I sat in my convertible and drove away, as far away from this as I can.
