She ran to the kitchen, picking up the cup of coffee she made herself earlier and left out to cool down. She then proceeded to drink it like a vodka shot (fast and painful - only for a second though), grabbed her script of the kitchen counter and ran down the stairs. She then remembered that the apartment door have been left unlocked, so she walked three floors back up (the owner of the building ran out of money before completing the living complex, meaning there was an elevator vent but no elevator itself). Once her little home was secured she continued to complete her first motion since leaving the flat. The outside was chilly, not cold enough to wear a jacket but not warm enough to stroll down the street wearing a T-shirt. Her boots countinued to hit the hard pavement until they found their way to a staircase leading downwards - the NYC underground train transportation sistem. The train that lead to her destination was slightly late, filling the air with murmuring and complaining. Martha took a couple deep breaths as the train pulled up, the door stoping and opening right in front of her. "I'll take that as a good sign." she tried to calm her nerves as she got onto the snake resembling machine. Since it was quite early in the morning and she was one of the first people to get on the train she got a place to sit (that she later gave up to an older man, but those six minutes were great) and opened her script to go over the lines once again. She can't mess up. This was her first audition in seventeen months. There were very few lines that she had to memorise, which made the pressure even higher. What if she messes up even though she has to say a couple of words? How big of a joke will they take her for? She didn't have time for Victorias bullshit this time. After ten years of being the head of her management she finally had enough. Martha wasn't sure if the young star is even going to show, but what she knew is that she will drop her most talented, rich and famous client if she doesn't. Her mother hired the manager when Victoria was only eight, her first role came a year later and three years after that her first Oscar nomination. The train started stopping and Martha walked out the, now very crowded and smelly, train and countinued her way onto the streets of New York City.

"Is she here? Has Victoria arrived yet?" she asked as soon as she got to the front desk. "Victoria?" The secretary looked at her from under her glasses. "Oh come on! THE Victoria! You know the one!" Martha said as she was flapping around her arms like a terrified squid. "'I won't touch you or your family, but don't you dare-' " the secretary began "'-call yourself my father.' Yeah, yeah, that's the one. Is she here? " the orange haired woman finished the famous line. "Victoria is coming? Victoria Venom?" the girl got excited. The woman cringed at the name ten year old Vicky chose as her artist name (don't let kinds listen to the Sex Pistols at a young age, they will name themselfs after one of the members, and it damn sure won't be Johnny Rotten), but the returned to her composed self and rolled her eyes into the back of her skull. "I guess she's not here yet. Thank you." She spoke coldly and turned into the direction the audition was supposed to be taking place. Opening the door, the stage was under attack by an obnoxious blonde white girl reciting the lines as she was a robot in one of those futuristic movies, but keeping eye contact with the director through the entire thing. "That's what fucking nightmares are made of." Martha mumbled as she posed herself in the corner of the room. She pushed her back against the wall, only to soon lean forward to light herself a cigarette and then reposition her head. As soon as the girl finished the director stood up thanked her for coming and started to move toward the exit. "I need a goddamn coffee after this shit." he spat in a nice tone, which made the whole situation even more confusing. "Want one?" he asked the manager. "Sure." She said even though she just had one an hour ago. Nicotine and Caffeine were her Achilles heel. They left through the back door, only to be met with the sight of Miss Venom, leaning on a brick wall, smoking a cigarette of her own. She looked healthier than the last time Martha saw her. Her cheeks were fuller and her eyes looked less dead. Her shoulder length black hair was messy and her low hanging black baggy ripped jeans were trying their best to stay on her skinny body. Her left hand was occupied by playing with the cancer stick and her right hand was holding onto the script. She couldn't have been giving off a better 'I don't give a fuck' vibe even if she tried. Her eyes were smudged with some kind of black colour that was very obviously applied very nonchalantly. "Victoria! I've been losing my mind trying to find you!" the manager overemphasized the whole sentence. "Thought you lost it years ago with the level of your OCD." the actress smirked. "Let me guess. It's my time to shine? I almost missed it? I'm killing my career? Well damn woman, lets do this." she said, threw the burned up filter on the cement ground and stepped on it. She then walked over the the older man, pushed her script onto his chest, causing him to bring his hands to it and grab it. Victoria then walked through the still open back door. "I'm so sorry. She-" Martha started to try to explain the behavior of the grunge teenager. "No need to apologize. I just hope she's going to be better than the blonde android." the casting director interrupted as he gave her a soft smile and followed Miss Venom inside.

"See? My leg's on the gas, my mind is with it and the only thing keeping me from driving off is the strong wanting of seeing your face when I tell you that... (Victoria starts laughing and countinues to push out words against the will of her laughter) I killed them. I killed your mommy. I beat that bitch with my pan like i did your little brother. " Her laughter is immediately cut off as she gives a mocky broken plié and waits with a smirk. The casting director leans over to Martha, sitting next to him" I don't know her personally , that's why I'm asking you. Is she just an amazing actress or is she actually a psychopath?"
