When They All Prank You

Waking up to that text brought me to tears, what picture is he talking about? I was at Bryces party but don't remember dancing or drinking. I loved Zach with all my heart and would never intentionally hurt him. Maybe I did have one too many drinks that night. Zach is my world though. I got out of bed and got ready for school. This was going to be a horrible day.

As I pulled up to school, I already knew what it was going to be like walking in. I grabbed Zachs Lettermans jacket from the back seat and slammed the door shut, locking the car. I walked with my head down trying to avoid everyone's eyes but I could still feel them staring. i walked in the school and it felt like everyone went silent. I hurried over to my locker grabbing the books I needed and tried walking as fast as I could before someone could catch me. Until a girl stopped me. "What's it like to know you lost the sweetest and most hottest guy at school? It would suck to be you." She laughed and walked off, I rolled my eyes and went into class. Tears were streaming down my face but I didn't care. Jessica walked in and immediately sat next to me. "Y/n, you need to know the truth." She whispered, I looked at her confused. "What do you mean?" I asked while wiping the tears from my face. "It's a prank. They're pulling a prank on you." She said, trying to hold back the laughter. "What? Who's they?" I looked around the class. "The football players. It's this thing they do to their cheerleader girlfriends. Just to see if it's real." She looked at you smirking. "Wait, but some girl came up to me telling me that it must suck to be me since I lost the hottest and sweetest guy in the school?" She nodded, "She's in on it."

My feelings were still kinda hurt and Zach was still not talking to me. I had his lettermans jacket in my closet and was thinking about just giving it to him instead of Justin. Which I did. I saw Zach standing at his locker and that's when I gave it to him. I was nervous and crying but I had to. "Here." I said, tears were slowly falling. He turned around with a blank expression. "I told you to give it to Justin." He said, not looking at you. "I want to see the picture." I said, wiping the tears away. His face went down. "I can't show you." You rolled your eyes, "And, why not?" I was getting annoyed. Justin walks up, along with Monty and Bryce. "Because there is no picture. We pranked you. That's how us football players do. We wanted to see if you were real about being with Zach. It's clear that you are." Justin said, smiling. Jessica walked up with her arms around him. Chloe with Bryce and some girl with Monty. I looked at all them still hurt, "Goodbye." I said and their faces fell. Zach pulled me back, "Y/n it was a prank. I didn't even want to do it but it's not real." He said, and you were crying again. "I would never hurt you. Of course I'm real about wanting to be with you." I hugged him, "I know baby I know." He wrapped his arms around you. "I love you." He said, "I love you too."
