::chapter eighteen::

Jungkook gulped nervously when Hosoek sighed.

"He's now physically stable. I've treated his wounds and I did a few surgeries on him so he'll be in less pain and will recover quicker but his mental state from everything probably won't be great but it all depends" Hoseok said softly.

"Thank you so much Hoseok, you can go rest up" Jungkook smiled softly at Hoseok and he nodded.

Yoongi lead Hoseok to their shared room, he cuddled up to Hoseok and they were soon asleep.

"Well, I better go get Namjoon out of the office and get him to rest too" Seokjin said and made his way to the office to get his boyfriend away from the computer and rest before finding Yoon Sanha's whereabouts.

Now Jungkook and Jimin were the only ones left in the room. They looked at each other with unsure eyes.

"Lets go see Taehyung, I can't bare not seeing him for longer than we already have when he's so close to us" Jungkook said softly and Jimin nodded.

They both walked slowly to where Taehyung was being kept which was one of the rooms in the medical area where any of them were injured would rest. When they reach the door Jungkook reached for the handle and hesitantly opened it. Once it was open fully they both looked over at Taehyung's bed. They saw him laying there now peacefully attached to a few machines which was monitoring him.

Jimin sat down and he immediately burst into tears both of happiness and sadness. Happiness because he now had Taehyung back in his reach and sadness because he couldn't bare to think of everything that Taehyung had been through these past two years.

Jungkook's eyes traced Taehyung's fragile body up and down. Slowly taking in his appearance. He was now thinner than he was when they last saw him, his skin pale instead of his honey-tanned skin, his facial features looked a thousand more fragile that looked like it could be bruised with a gentle touch.

Jungkook brought Jimin into his arms again as he cried his heart out. Jungkook just sat there, with one of his loves in his arms and he just watch the other sleeping and recovering. He was still processing everything, he already knew later he would be in the same situation as Jimin once it has all hit him.

They both just sat there for hours. Jimin soon fell asleep in Jungkook's arms with dried up tear streaks visible in his now puffy cheeks. Jungkook smiled softly and sadly at the same time. He carefully lifted Jimin up comfortable in a bridal style position and he left the hospital room. He didn't look back.

"Good night baby sleep well, I love you" Jungkook said softly to Jimin and kissed his forehead before he left the hospital room.

Taehyung had his eyes open weakly as he watched the whole scene in front of him. He felt tears well up in his eyes.

He didn't want to be here.
