Hey I'm Kate and this is my story about how I fell in love with my annoying next door neighbour.

This story takes place in 2012 when I was 16 and lived in a small town where everyone knew everyone but that was about to change when our new neighbours moved in right next door to my house and at first I didn't really pay attention until my parents along with everyone in the neighborhood decided to meet the new family.

My parents heard that they had a teenage son around my age so naturally we'd "get along great" but that plan was short lived when I met Austin and I'm not gonna lie he was kind cute well to me anyway,he had dark hair ,  light brown eyes and all dressed in leather.

To a teenage girl that was whole package and I kinda developed a crush on him at first sight but that was cut down when I got to know him.

He was rude to me and kept his distance which at first was understandable since he just moved here but after 3 months it became to much to take because he grew into a jerk , he'd call me names , trip me when I was walking home and he even put a lizard in my locker.

I had enough of him and so I made a plan to get him  by letting my cousin's pet snake in his room while he was out. I know revenge isn't the best way to deal with things but I was 16.

Needless to say my plan backfired horribly because after Austin found the snake he know it was my cousin's pet and I promised to look after it for the weekend and you can guess how mad he was cause his face looked it he ate a raw ghost pepper.

After an hour of yelling at me he did the unexpected (keep in mind  we're in my room and my family was out ) he pulled my arm which lead me to hit his chest and when I looked up to ask what he was doing , he kissed me ! And not just any kiss he French kissed me.

I was shocked but only god knows how I managed to kiss him back , the kiss lasted of at least 3 minutes before we needed air. Once I caught my breathe I  asked him why the hell did he do that and he said that he had a crush on me since he moved here and I know this sounds like a cliché  but we started dating afterwards and now fast forward to 2019 I'm 23 and married to my once annoying neighbour.

He still brings up the whole lizard and snake thing and I hope one day we can tell out kids about it.
