Bryan's POV:
"Where did Regan and Sophie go?" I asked looking at Kevin "I don't know. Maybe they're talking about boys and makeup and all that stuff" he exclaimed not looking up from his phone "should we check?" I asked getting up from the bench "you can but Reagan's mad at me" he said rolling his eyes.
I started walking towards the huge bush that I thought they were behind. "Hey are you guys ready I go?" I asked turning around the corner thinking that I'd see them. "KEVIN!" I shrieked running back to him "what!?" He snapped getting up and walking towards me "they're gone..." I muttered shutting my eyes closed and opening them again just to make sure that I wasn't seeing things "where are they?! SOPHIE!! REAGAN!!" I shouted looking around us "Bryan calm down they're probably at Sophie's house or Reagan's" Kevin explained trying to calm me down.
I love my girl. I don't want to lose her.
"Kevin how are you so calm?" I asked him while we were looking for them "I don't know" he shrugged "I guess I just try not to think about the bad things" "but what about Reagan? I thought you liked her" I asked "I do but she probably doesn't like me anymore" he admitted looking at the floor "I've liked her for so long, ever since we were in kindergarten and now we're 14 and yet I've liked her after all these years" Kevin exclaimed "we all have been close since kindergarten" I chuckled " I know, it's so crazy that we've been friends for 9 years" he said looking back up at the moon " I know we will find them Bryan and everything will go back to normal" "well almost normal" I exclaimed.
The moon was cascading on a corn field and we heard voices and yelling. "Kevin do you hear something?" I asked walking towards the field "SOPHIE!" Reagan cried "its Reagan!" I shouted running into the field "Bryan no!" Kevin yelled as I was running.
I need to find them. I have to find my girl.
I see someone putting something on Reagan's face. As I was about to attack the figure Kevin tackled me and wouldn't let me go. "Dude! Get off me" I whispered "what the heck do you think your doing?!" He said wrapping his arms around me so that I couldn't move or do anything.
I needed to help them.
After a moment Reagan passed out the figure cradled her in their hands. She looked so lifeless. On the other hand, I didn't see Sophie.
It terrified me.
After the figure disappeared Kevin let go of me "I'm sorry dude but if we had gotten caught then we could've gotten kidnapped. Let's try to follow them so that we can see where they go." He said getting up. I agreed as I grabbed his hand so that I could get up. "That makes more sense" I said nodding.
we started following them. Trying to not make any noise but it was hard especially since we had to move the corn stalks so that we could see where they went. They stopped at a black van, well it at least looked black because of how dark it was. " We can sell them" one figure say putting I'm guessing Reagan was in the back of the van "No we have to give them to the-" "OW" other figure was interrupted because Kevin falling on me. "WHOS THERE!" growled one figure looking around. We both were silent. We covered our mouths so that they couldn't hear our breathing.
They started looking around and trying to hear anything. "We won't hurt you guys... we just want to talk..." the other figure said looking in the direction of us.
Please don't let them see us.... please don't let them see us....
"I found you!" The figure growled that was looking at us. He tackled us not letting us move on the other hand Kevin and I were trying to get out of the figures grasp. We need to get out so we can help the girls.
It was no use.
The figure was way to heavy for us to move. The other figure grabbed cloths and put them on our faces.
All I knew was I couldn't help the girls.
I feel like a failure.
Everything went pitch black.
