FRIENDS, THIS IS MY FIRST OS ON ASHDEEP... TRIED SOMETHING NEW, AND HOPING THAT YOU ALL WILL GIVE YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THIS TOO...
Beautiful shimmery decorative strings of butterflies, twinkling fairy lights, her name written with big glittery alphabetical balloons with an heartwarming birthday wish. Everything was arranged in blue theme and all the decor was glowing with sparkles. Such an nicely arranged party, so choiceful beverages and snacks and equally carefully done decorations. Ashi was not sure that who exactly plan everything for this party, but the one was definitely so close to her and knew her and her choices so well.
It was start of her second birthday celebration with co-actors of her show. First was before the show went on air and now just in a short span of one year, not the show has started only but gained a good recognition too. Along with the success stairs, they have grown with personal bonds too. All cast members were like family now and she was happy that all her friends and friends cum family put in so much effort and time to make her day special.
She was looking everything and being overwhelmed on such beautiful surprise, when music started and she was pulled by her friends to be a part of dance floor. She got busy in matching the beats of her favourite peppy numbers. It wasn't more than 20 or 25 minutes, when cake arrived, everyone hooted loudly and asked her to cut the cake first.
The candles were set on the cake ahh not just the cake, but on the beautiful princess shaped cake. Yeah, it was little kiddish, but she loved it. She was very fond of princess and barbies since always and seeing the touch of her heart in that She was overwhelmingly happy. She clicked some pics of that beautiful cake, when Madhu and Ayesha kept the cake knife in her hands and asked her to do the honour. She bent down to blow the candles, but for no reason her eyes roamed in every corner of room. Thinking something, she straighten up and asked Ayesha,"Ayeshu... Hum abhi q cake cut kat rahe hai... I mean sab aa gye kya... Kisi aur ko to ab nhi aana naa... Kahi koi reh naa jaye..."
Ayesha searched for something on her face and replied narrowing her brows,"aur ab kise aana hai... Sab toh hai... Humne is waqt sirf friends ko bulaya hai... Matlab parents aur jo bhi bade log hai, wo kal ki party me aayenge... Abhi sirf hum friends... tu bhi naa... Chal ab cake kaat kar apne birthday ki shuruat kar...."
Nodding a yes, she was still lost a bit. Her eyes again roamed over like instinctively but bent down to blow the candles again. Once more she looked at Ayesha, and closing her eyes she gestured her to make a wish. Ashi closed her eyes but didn't know what to wish, just closing her eyes she remembered the almighty and blowing the candles did the ritual. She fed cake everyone, and got feed in return along with smearing of icing on face.
Music was on again and everyone rocked the dance floor with random but quircky moves. She too was pulled along. She too moved her body on rhythm. She was laughing, enjoying, dancing and doing everything to enjoy the party, but her heart. Her heart was still stucked on those bygones moments. She was still thinking what Ayesha had said some minutes back.
"Humne sirf friends ko invite kiya hai...."
"Abhi ke liye sirf friends..."
"Agar sirf friends ko invite kiya hai to fr.... Kya hum itne bhi dost nhi...",she thought and mumbled.
She was anxious, feeling an strange restlessness. Knowingly or unknowingly but waiting for him. They have already shot some birthday segments. She got his wish too, but he was not here. But why. "Doesn't he consider her a friend, or they don't have that bonding. What is there to stop him...."she thought.
She smiled remembering his goofiness during shooting her birthday segment. She chuckled remembering the loud teasing hoots of their ship name "Ashdeep" made by her friends and co-actors during cake cutting. But 'Ash' is here and 'deep' is not. Along with this thought, her smile faded from her lips and downcast frown took place.
