Billie Eilish Fanfic- Regret.

Dinner. Billie's POV.

I had the kitchen staff make all of Cleo's favorite foods for dinner. Hopefully, they hadn't changed since we broke up. I know she had a really bad day and needed cheered up.

I showed her the dining room table and she sat down beside me, which is no big deal, but it was to me. It made me feel like we were back together again.

I tried not to think about it, but how couldn't I? I made some really dumb mistakes with some bitches that would never matter to me again and I lost the most important person I had in my life.

I felt myself smile as they presented the appetizers for Cleo and I, Bruschetta. She had never had it until I introduced it to her at an Italian restaurant one time and that's all she ate for the meal then, another order of Bruschetta. The waitress had thought we were crazy. She looked over at me and I saw her face blush as she grinned,

"You know that's my favorite!"

Before I could say anything, Howard sat down with us and explained,

"Billie picked out a very detailed menu of all your favorite foods for the kitchen staff tonight, so save some room in your tummy for more."

She redirected her attention towards me,

"Really?"

I nodded.

She looked down at her lap then back up at me,

"I almost forgot how sweet you can be."

Cleo refocused her attention on the food as Howard and I gave each other "the look". Howard knew I loved Cleo and still do love Cleo. He told me how stupid I was for cheating. I guess you could say Howard was the closest thing to a parent that I really had anymore, which honestly...was okay with me.

I watched Cleo devour more food than I knew her tiny figure could take in and laughed a little bit every time more was presented and she got excited. She was so fucking cute.

After we finished Cleo yawned and leaned in towards me. When we were together she would have kissed me right now, but instead she said lowly,

"I'm sleepy Bil..."

I nodded and helped her up,

"I'll show you the guest room C."
