Forever Family. (A My Little Pony fanfic)

Chapter one.

I sigh, looking up into the sky as the clouds merge together, and the sun burns down on my pale skin. 

I sit up, and brush the grass off my arms and look at the over-night-bag next to me.

My last day in Indigo, the village I've lived in since I was a a filly.

Then I hear it, the old-fashioned bus that I've been waiting for for what seems like hours. 

"Hello?" the large- balding bus driver asks.

"Hi!" I say happily.

"Are you getting on?" he asks.

"Yup," I say, picking up the bag, and brushing down my wine coloured-silk dress with a black unicorn pattern on it. 

I climb onto the bus and sit down on a wooden bench, which is the colour of toffee.

Then I see her, her golden hair floating in the warm air drifting through the open window, her golden eyes glinting in the sun, she has gold freckles sprinkled over her face, and shes wearing a light green tutu and a long sleeved, turtlenecked yellow woolen jumper. 

 See looks up and catches me staring at her. 

"Hey," she says smiling at me. 

"Hi!" I say, over excitedly, nervous and embarrassed that she caught me staring.

"I'm Glimmer Sunbeam" she smiles, her eyes bright. 

"Rainbow Sparkle" I reply.

"Nice!" she laughs, her wind chime voice floating down the small wooden cabin of the golden yellow, and red bus. 

We sit in silence for a while. 

Her reading, me looking out of the window. 

"We're almost there," she informs me. 

I smile.

"So, where are you staying?" I ask.

"I'm not." she says, still reading.

"Oh." I say, confused. 

Silence again.

"I'm not staying in Ponyville. I'm going past it, to Radiant, the new village." she says, smiling, and looking up at me, the sun making patterns on her face.

"Okay, cool!" I laugh awkwardly.

The bus stops, and I grab my pink bag off the seat next to me.

"Okay, um, see you!" I say, walking to the door.

"Hopefully." she smiles, as I jump out of the bus, thanking the driver, and looking around, down the long road, its so hot you can see the heat radiating off the ground. 

I sigh, and begin to walk down it, to my new life in Ponyville.
