She lay sleeping in the middle of a field filled with daisies that she had earlier used to make the flowercrown that lay atop her head. As the girl lay dreaming, she was rendered unaware to sense the presence of the grey wolf that was rushing towards her destination in the midst of the forest. Said wolf was rushing towards her because he had caught her unique scent of fireworks, forest trees and mint.

As soon as the wolf had reached the sleeping girl, he shifted back into a human and changed before freezing as the scent hit him hard and soon drove him crazy. 'MATE' his inner wolf screamed at him loudly. His mate was very pretty with long brown straight hair that came down in waves over her shoulders yet did not reach her waist. Her eyes were shut as she slept so he didn't get the opportunity to see them but he knew that when they opened, he would find them beautiful like the rest of her was. He adored her for little quirks that he could see from her sleeping form, from the flowercrown perched daintily upon the top of her head and the oversized black sweater that hid her form from the world's invading eyes. He shook his head to clear his thoughts of her as one lone worrisome thought popped into his head

'What was this beautiful girl doing in these dangerous woods, teeming with predators all ready to kill her, all alone?'

Worrying for his mate's safety he carefully picked the girl up in his arms and started carrying the light girl back to the pack house so he could see if she needed any medical attention and when she woke up, he could have the chance to learn more information about his mate such as her name, likes and dislikes so that he could keep his mate happy which now that he was mated would cause him happiness as well.
