Busy day, busy weeks, busy months and a busy year is what consisted of your 2019 so far. School and your part time job has been kicking your butt recently and you found yourself stressed out a lot to the point where you think your hair turned into the color gray.
But today, it's the weekend and you got a message from your boss that you don't have to go in today and tomorrow which relieved you so much you started jumping all over your bedroom. After you received the message, you decided to just cuddle up in bed and watch some shows and movies on the new disney app called Disney+. Which is by the way the authors favorite streaming app right now because it makes her feel nostalgic. Lmao
Anyways, after a while of just consuming movies and shows you eventually got bored and lonely deciding to text Jennie, your best friend since birth, to ask what she was up to in hopes to hang out with her at her house.

After putting on just a hoodie - that's too big for you by the way - over your shirt and shorts, you take a look of yourself in the mirror to tidy up before grabbing your things and heading out the door. You meet Chaeyoung in the hallway with a plate full of food on her hand while her other hand was holding her phone.
"Where you heading out to?" She stops right in front of her bedroom door that was across from yours.
Smiling wide you replied, "To Jennie unnie's house"
Chaeyoung makes a smug teasing face to you, "Ooh" she cood. "Don't get wild with her now" She said winking at you.
Not knowing what she was talking about you flashed her with a confused look but kept on smiling, "What?"
Chaeyoung chuckles, "You know she likes you right?"
"Ofcourse. Duh. We've literally been best friends are whole entire lives" You giggle.
Chaeyoung gives you a blank stare wondering how you could be very clueless and still manage to survive this cruel world. You were too pure and innocent she worried for you sometimes.
"Okay well. Have fun and be safe" She gives you a one last smile before quickly heading inside her bedroom and closing the door shut.

"Hmm. I guess one of my favorite western artist right now is Kehlani. I've been putting her Sweet sexy savage album on repeat a lot. I love her" You found yourself and Jennie sprawled on her king sized bed talking about random things which eventually led to the both of you changing the topics to music.
"I think I've only listened to one of her songs. I don't know her that well" Jennie says before munching on the almond nuts you two were snacking on.
You nodded. "Oh I see. But what about you? Your favorite song at the moment? Or favorite artist" You propped yourself up sitting and leaning against her headboard, mirroring her position.
Jennie hums and thinks for a second. "Billie Eilish" She answers.
"And what song have you been listening?"
"Wish you were gay" She plainly replies looking at you blankly. You two stared at eachother and Jennie looks away before speaking again. "You wanna know why it's my favorite at the moment?"
You smile at her. "Sure"
"I have this friend. Which I like very much" She looks down and nervously plays with her fingers and your eyes avert to it.
You put your hand on top of hers to comfort her. "Jennie you don't have to be nervous. You can tell me anything. I didn't even know you liked anyone. So spill"
She gives you a weak smile and sighs. "So this particular someone. She's really great. I mean, not just great but amazing. I love everything about her from looks to personality. She's been there for me for as long as I could remember and has helped me so much with my problems and what not. I'm scared to tell her because I don't know if she will feel the same way and I don't even know if she likes girls. Also, I feel like she'll be mad at me If I tell her"
You pout at her. "Aw Jennie. Don't rush yourself. Im sure you have a lot of time until you're ready to tell her. From what you said, she seems really nice and I don't think you need to be worried about her being mad at you. But if you confess to her and she rejects and starts being rude to you, I'll knock her out with my fist." Jennie and you quietly laugh at the last part you said.
"Yeah. And so I dedicated the song Wish you were gay to her. Because like I wish YOU were gay." Jennie studies your face to see if you could catch on but you were too oblivious to notice or ask.
"Yeah I get what you mean"
It goes quiet for a moment until Jennie speaks up again.
"Y/N"
"Yeah?" You look at her.
"wish YOU were gay" She tries again.
You chuckle. "I'll listen to it tonight. And by the way, who's the girl you like?"
Jennie mentally facepalms and looks at you like she is done with you, which she is.
