When I arrive at the library the next day, Laura's already there.

"Hey, Rose." She says, waving. "It's been a while since we both went to the library, hasn't it?"

"Yeah, it has."

The last time Laura and I were at the library together was a few years ago. She says that she still reads books eventually, but that's usually around once every two months. She says she stopped going because it was like a mini hobby for her, that she does when there's nothing else. As for me, I still go often, just not as much. I remember in fifth grade, when I would re-read other books while I waited for a new book from my favorite novel to come out. Other times, I come here to study. Even if I don't get a book, I'm glad I decided to go to the library with Laura. For old times sake.

We enter the library, and Laura looks surprised.

"Damn, this place has changed since the last time I was here." Laura says.

"Yeah, I guess so. It changes little by little, and since I come here often I don't really notice it. You want to go get a book?" I ask.

"Well, duh. It's a library. Since you're the book worm, what would you recommend?"

"Bookworm? Me?"

"Well, yeah. You've read so many books that you barely have any good books to read anymore."

Laura wasn't wrong. I read many books. It was like my hobby. Eventually though, I started running out of books that I wanted to read. If you read too many new books you forget about the old books, which I didn't want to happen.

"Well, I know some good comedies. That was the only book genre you would read." I reply.

"That's only because comedies were the best kind. Either way, it doesn't sound like a bad idea. Let's go."

I lead her into what I thought was the comedy section, but realized it was the drama section.

"Guess they moved the sections this week." I say.

"Guess they have." Laura agrees.

We ask the librarian, who says that they had moved the sections so that it's neater and easier to access. They then pointed to the direction of the comedy section.

"Okay, now that we know where it's at, let's go." Laura says, enthusiastically.

I speed-walk to the section, excited that I can show Laura new books. I make it to the section, and then accidentally bump into someone, causing both of us to fall.

"I'm so sorry. That was my fault" I say nervously, getting back on my feet.

"It's okay. Accidents happen." The guy says.

When he gets back up, I see his face, and stare in surprise.

Lance?! What's he doing here?

He then recognizes me.

"Oh! You're from my class, right?" He says.

What kind of coincidence is this?

"Um, yeah." I reply.

Then, Laura comes into the section and sees the both of us.

"Oh, Rose! What happened?" Laura asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just bumped into someone." I reply.

"So you're Rose. I was going to ask yesterday, but you kind of screamed 'hi' to me." Lance says. "I should introduce myself better. I'm Lance."

Okay, so I didn't scare him. It's still kind of embarrassing though.
