You: When you meant reconnect with each other again I didn't think you meant that as a let's go to party and get drunk.

Colby just rolled his eyes at your nagging, quickly sipping down the rest of the drink from his cup.

Colby: You should know me by now. We dated for a year y/n.

Colby was quick to grab another drink, pouring it into his cup.

You: You never acted this way before though

You mumbled without any hesitation. Luckily, you were in a very loud environment and whispers can not be heard.

Colby: Come on y/n, live a little!

He handed a cup to you but you declined rather harshly. Instead of pushing it away, you almost knocked it out of hands, spilling the substance in the cup.

Colby: Hey, hey, be careful with that. No sense in wasting it so I'll just take it.

He finished yet another cup and moved on to the one that he tried to hand you not too long ago.

You: All you've been doing since we've been here is drinking. More like you have been drinking.

Colby: Well if you were in my life for the past three years you would know why I drink so much!

Colby started to build up his anger as his grip tightened around the cup. What could Colby mean by this? Was he addicted to drinking or what?

Colby: I'm not gonna stand here and argue with you anymore. I'm finding someone else to hang out with here.

And then he went off somewhere else in the party. The three years has really changed how you two see each other. You haven't really had contact throughout so keeping up with each other's lives was out of the picture. Colby's so called drinking problem was just figured out. Weather you believe that or not is the question. There's been clues through the night that reveal this but maybe asking the other guys could help with this situation.

The real question is though. How did Colby end up with this drinking problem that he so speaks of?
