I Need To Stop- Part 5

My lips collided with his, his cold lips pressing against mine. I grabbed his cheeks, slowly growing more passionate as the kiss grew longer.

 I closed my eyes so I couldn't look at him, but before I knew it, Nagito had wrapped his arms around my back, pulling me closer. 

When we finally weren't able to breathe anymore, we parted our lips from one another, breathing heavily.

Nagito let go of me, and then looked at me, his lips pressed together as if a terrible revelation appeared in front of him. I reached towards him, but he shifted away, his eyes cold.

"I-m.... sorry, Nagito. I shouldn't have.." 

He then looked at me, shaking his head,"No.. no... I'm fine.. I just... need to go." He got up, his hand already on the doorknob. I got up quickly and ran up behind him, hugging him.

"N-Nagito... please don't go... I lo-"

He shoved me away, so I fell on the ground, my head aching. He didn't turn around at all, and then he was gone.

I quickly got up, opening the door and looking around me. 

Nothing.

I shut the door angrily and collapsed on the ground, tears already reaching my eyes. I dug my nails into my arms, shouting at myself for kissing him.

Eventually, the day continued to drag on, my mind empty from all the crying I had done. I didn't eat at all sitting in bed and facing my pillow, just trying to sleep.

And then a week had passed.

I hadn't mentioned a thing to Chiaki since I didn't want to burden her with my feelings,  but it became increasingly hard to stay focused in school.

I had continued to work at the maid cafe for a while, nothing special happened at all.

I was sitting on my couch when I heard a doorbell ring.

I rushed to the door.

And then he was there.
