Bill's point of view
Yesterday evening was the best. I spent time with my friends and with Beverly, the girl of my dreams. I can't stop thinking about our kiss. It felt so passionate and healing. Her love for me is making me realize that true love is possible. I want to promise her that I will always be by her side, but it seems that life is unexpected and I shouldn't make promises I can't keep. Beverly is everything to me and I can't disappoint her as I did with the others.
I went downstairs and I started to eat. My mom noticed the blush on my cheeks and smiled.
" Looks like my boy is in love." she stated.
" Yeah, it is awesome that we a-are back." I smiled. I can't help it. I can't stop smiling if I wanted to.
I went to the flower shop and I bought a bouquet of roses.
I knocked at Beverly's door. I saw a pair of beautiful blue eyes.
" Bill, what brings you here?" she questioned me.
" Can't I do something nice for my girlfriend?" I say without a stutter. I love the fact that around her, my stutter goes away like I never stuttered before.
" Girlfriend? Thank you, Billy, you are such a sweet boyfriend. She took the bouquet and enjoyed their fragrance. I kissed her on her cheek.
" Come inside." Bev suggested. I took her hand and I entered her house.
Richie came and knocked at Bev's door. We answered and we saw him devastated.
" Richie, what happened? " she asked. Poor Richie. He was devastated.
" What happened, Rich? Did Eddie and you got in a fight?" Bev asked.
" It's not about Eddie. My parents are getting a divorce." he kneeled down and started to cry.
Bev and I hugged him. I understand his pain. My parents fight a lot too.
" Are you sure?" I asked him too.
" They fight a lot." He answered.
We let him cry on our shoulders. He wipes his tears away on puts back his glasses.
" I am such a loser." He exclaimed.
" No Richie, you aren't ."
The door was opened and Eddie entered.
" Rich, what happened, honey? " Eddie asked worriedly.
" His parents might get a divorce." Bev replies.
" I am sure that things will work out in the end, and if they don't, you have me and the others to support you and love you unconditionally. " Eddie said.
" Thank you, guys." Richie hugged Eddie.
