[outside...]

... rays peered through the skies, today was cloudy, it was all tinted grey with streams of golden light filtering through. A lukewarm breeze flowed through the hills into the area where the camp had been formed.
Everything seemed so quite... different. Mist was beginning to pour into the air as the golden rays slowly melted away, dissolving into the grey world around them. The cawing of birds in the trees and the flocks of bird in the air only made the day more ominous.

In the camp, which had been made larger with significant progress, with time it had grown. Proper roofs, tarps, silky sleeping bags that had been recovered...
Despite the ever lasting worry for the missing nine from the those who resided in the camp, a cheery demeanor had spread throughout most of the objects. A garden for food and plants had even been made. This place was so out of the way of the rest of the world that it was taking a little while for emergency services to help, besides... they'd always do just about everything on their own.

Balloon was sitting on a rock, staring out into the ever darkening sky with drowsy and concerned eyes, they where dark with dark red semi circles under them... He thought... He reminded himself of BaseBall from that point in the show. He cracked a smile with a gentle giggle...

Suitcase...

Where was she? Perhaps... no she couldn't be dead. She had to be alive... right? She had always been there for him since they first met.. she was loving, amazing, and caring... a little broken in the head, but she really did mean the best for everyone...
...Even if they did treat her wrong most the time...
He thought more. His mind consuming.. louder...

Ever louder...

"gaAH OH HOLY- GUYYYSSSS-!!"
He snapped from his thoughts with the loud familiar voice, shooting up to his feet so fast he nearly fell over. He rushed to stand up his legs giving out on him only causing him to fall to his hand and knees before we was able to recover.
"Lightbulb?"
He stood up and ran over as fast as his light air filled body would let him.
"GUYS GUYS!" Lightbulb seemed more energetic than in the past days, "We know they are there! They're in the crumbling building!" She threw her arm out like a whip to point at the building, completely forgetting any injuries she may of had for the time being. Ballon looked, others had quickly gathered at the hope of seeing those they cared for again.
"TestTube is working really really hard and this fell too!" She held up Fan's shattered phone, "It almost landed on Testy-"
"What about everyone else? Are we sure they're in there?"  ... Baseball, really? He just had to ask.
"W-..well we aren't really sure but I know I asked Painty to meet me there at a certain time on the day it happened." The energy had suddenly faded from her body, her voice. "We also found weird silver streaks falling down the wall and sticky goop falling. Though I didn't mention the sticky goop I think it was just.." She thought more, her face twisted...
"Cherries isn't here... Nickel isn't here." Paper added... thinking about what could of happened to his lovely OJ...
She and the others became dumbfounded, thinking about what could of happened to the nine, they stood there until multiple cords and some weird power box where thrown to Lightbulb's feet by Knife, who grumbled "Save who is left."
The mist having cleared out allowing the warm, warm sun to beat down upon the group, others having gone back to hope and finish what they may of been doing.

Lightbulb picked up the stuff and started off back to TestTube who was still working..
She watched as a few parts of the building crumbled off falling to the cracked ground below, this caused her to pick up the pace and nearly drop everything.

In the elevator those who were left huddled in the corner, crying their hearts out, except Paintbrush who currently looked like a torch as gentle, warm flames whipped about making the cold air around them disappear as they all snuggled into the warmth.
Fan was half asleep but he was crying too, "I-I'm never going to see TestTube or L-lightbulb againnn... i'm going to die here with you guysss..."
OJ was still in Paintbrush's grasp, as they didn't want the poor guy to shatter and die... Paintbrush looked over to the other corner, where Box of all objects, had finally fallen over... they all assumed the cardboard object was dead.

Marshmallow was crying too, not only because she thought she was going to die with the other three still left, but because of the pain she felt in her soft marshmallow body.
She had no leg and a chunk of her body was gone.
PaintBrush looked, all of them huddled together in their lap... they didn't remember anyone. They didn't know if they had someone to get back too on the ground.
Did anyone even care?
This was the point where they joined the crying fest of the objects in their lap, the flames growing a bit warmer.
"I do not want to die without someone to care.."
"I don't wanna die here! N-Not here of all p-placesss..." Fan, he was the most vocal out of the three.. OJ was too disorientated to even speak and Marsh was crying too hard.

The whole place was just a mess of sobbing and horrible memories...
The ashes...
the metal...
the dried goop...
the outline of the ill stricken in the corner...
and the fallen...

Every one was consumed by crying and tears until OJ started to cough, wheezing until his lungs let him stop.
"You.. alright?" Paintbrush asked, taking it upon themself to feel the poor strangers head as clearly, they where in no condition to do so.

The cracked glass cup felt.. warm.
Feverish as their 'cheeks' fogged into a more opaque white..
"Please.. no.."

The warmth of sickness and flames that danced...
