3. Director!

So, now let me introduce KIMCHI...I mean our university's director, Mr. Kim Chinyeol!
He is a disciplinarian and a perfectionist. No doubt that he was the best student of our University when he was of our age. He always told us to be successful and to always secure the first position because according to him no one remembers the second.

On the first day, all of us gathered around the open area, he stood there in front of us and started explaining the value of being first. He was blabbering some boring stuff until he took out his special pen from his shirt pocket.

"Look at this pen. It was given by my director because he saw his soul in me. Similarly, I would give this pen to the student in whom I would see myself and do you know what is it's speciality?"

All of his moved our head from right to left indicating a 'no'.

"This pen is used by the astronauts. In zero gravity, you can write with this special pen but other pens don't function that way..."

"Sir, why can't we use a pencil in zero gravity?"

"Who is this genius?"

All of us moved apart to let the Director see the student's face.

"And who are you?"

"Yunseo! Choi Yunseo!"

"Hmm...next time don't ask such questions. Now, you can enter into the University campus but remember I, Mr. Kim Chinyeol is watching all of you!"

With that all of us went to our respective classes but the Director stopped Yunseo.

"Meet me in the office!"

As said, Yunseo went to his office and stood in front of him while he was sitting on his armchair glaring that the student.

"Do you think questioning your teachers is a good thing?"

"But Sir..."

"Wait! Miss. Choi I haven't finished yet please don't cut me off. Our University brings out the op student and no one has the audacity to the question the teacher!"

"But Sir, questioning helps in understanding. If this University hasn't done this, then your method of teaching is wrong sir..."

"What? My methods are wrong!?"

"Yes sir..."

"Come with me, Ms. Choi!"

The Director entered into our classroom while the professor was teaching.

"Good morning class! Today, your professor won't teach but Ms. Choi will. She thinks that our methods of teaching are trash. Then, let's see what are your teaching methods. Carry on!"

"Sir, please!!"

Yunseo wasn't scared at all. She asked the Director to sit down while the he followed her calmly. Without saying a word he sat down beside a student. Yunseo glanced at the students. She took the book, turned a few pages and taking the marker, she wrote two words in bold and capital letters.

Writing those words, she turned towards the class keeping the marker down.

"In 30 seconds, you have to tell the meaning of the two words written on the board. And your time starts...NOW!"

All the students started flipping through their books. The Director snatched the neighbour student's boom to look up for the word. On of the students ran towards the teacher's table and took the book which Yunseo was using. Soon, the second's hand struck after the 30 seconds.

"TIME UP! Time up sir, time up! Now, turn back time and go 30 seconds back. When I wrote the two words did anyone focused int he words? NO! Everybody was racing..."

"Hello! It's not a psychology class. Explain the meaning of the two words!!"

"Sir...Actually...there aren't such words. They are my friends names..."

She underlined our names.

All the students on the class starts laughing over the words and also at the Director.

"Sir, I hope and I believe that one day you will be able to teach properly in the proper way. Class dismissed! Bye sir!"

Saying so, Yunseo hopped out of the class with her bag. While the students were still laughing.

"QUIET! QUIET, I SAID!!"

Yes! Yunseo is one of those students who carried a screw driver with her. Whenever she would see a machine, she would loosen it's screws.

Just like her, there was another student...Jung Hoseok!
His passion was music but his father wanted his son to be a successful engineer. He had the brains for it but not the thirst for it like Yunseo.

He used to be innovative and at night he used to sit with his guitar and would sing melodious songs written by him which we used to listen some of the times.
