Can This be more? (wlw love story)

"I'll pick you up in 10"

I just finished my homework as i get a text from Lizzy:

"Hey what's up?"

"Nothing you?"

"I'm bored"

"Wanna do something?"

"Yah!"

"I'll pick you up in 10"

I put on a sweater and get the car keys. Lizzy told me where she lives the last time i saw her so i drive to her house. As soon as i pull up into her driveway she comes out of the house.
She gets into the car and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"Wanna go to to the overlook of the city up on the hill?"

"Yah" she responds excitedly

On the drive there we dance and sing to songs. When we arrive I get out a blanket my mom keeps in the back of her car and we sit down on the bench at the viewing point. And i wrap the blanket around both of us. The sun is still up but it's already quite cold outside.
The city is beautiful from up here, the sun is slowly setting and we are just sitting there.

Than Lizzy starts to talk:
"Hey I realized I know lots about you but nothing about your family!"

I laugh and tell her:
"Well i have two brothers but they are already in college so I'm the only child in the house. But my grandmother lives with us and I love her! She's the best person ever and I tell her everything,  like really everything!"

"That's soo cool i wish i had a person i could tell everything" she says a with a sad voice

"Well you have me" I smile

"Yah" she says and leans her head on my shoulder

"And what about your family?"

She sits up and turns towards me
"Well my mom took of with her afair when I was 7...so..."

"Oh I'm so sorry..."

"It's okay...I am used to it now! I haven't talked to her since"

"Oh wow!"

"Well yah...i have no idea where she lives or what she's up to. But It's okay...me and my dad learned to live without her and now we are doing perfect! After my mom left me and my dad got quite close... and yah..."

"Well that's great...I had no idea about your mom"

"Well how should you?" We both smile

She puts her head back on my shoulder and says

"I really like hanging out with you!"

"Yah me too!" I respond with a big smile

We sat there in comfortable silence and watched the sunset.

I'm so glad I meet her! She is soo nice and really easy to talk to!
I hope we can be friends for ever!
