Violet's life is just a giant series of ironic events. For starters, her name is Violet because her parents met in a flower shop.
Her father had ended up breaking in through the window just after her mother had started to pack up. He only came in to get some tulips for his best friend's girlfriend's birthday and ended up meeting her mother behind some violets that she hid behind to get away from him. Hence, her name.
When she called her parents to tell them that she got a job in a flower shop, they laughed for a good 15 minutes.
Nothing good has ever come from that flower shop job. Well, nothing really bad either. Just nothing great worth mentioning. Except for one tall, tattooed, curly headed boy that appeared out of nowhere on Valentine's Day of all the days. If only he had a flower tattooed on his forehead then, possibly, it could be more ironic.
