My Boyfriend's a Vampire

Chapter One

I was saved from a beggar a year ago. Some other beggar saved me from the one that was going after me. I thought I saw a flash in his eyes when he saw mine. It melted my heart, knowing that I was in love with him. And that flash in his eye, signalling that he was in love with me. I thanked him and started to walk away, but I felt him grasp my arm as I start walking away. He didn't have to say anything, since I knew he was in love with me. I think it's odd for a guy to be in love with me that quick. But I never knew that he would be my boyfriend. And I never knew that he would be a vampire.

I'm sitting on the couch, watching TV since there isn't much to do. They should be back soon. Yeah, there's four of them. My boyfriend and his three best friends. All of them are vampires and I'm the only human. The three of them like to joke around with me. They can be protective but my boyfriend is the most.

I hear the door open and they all walk in.

"Cal, you have blood dripping down,"I tell him.

"Thanks."he smiles before wiping the small stream of blood from his face.

"Hunting was good, when's the next time?"Michael questions.

"Couple hours."Ashton says.

"You guys hunt at midnight?"I question.

"Well, obviously since we are vampires."Michael nods at me.

"Jesus."I say before getting a drink from the kitchen.
Then softly yawn.

I came back, Michael and Luke were laying in my spot, all cuddled up.

"Okay, thanks for taking my spot."I say before sitting on the chair.
Before I got there, Calum was already sitting there.

I look and glare at him. He chuckles.

Ashton took the love seat.

"You guys are fucking jerks. I don't have speed."I say.

"Sucks to suck, I have your boyfriend."Michael shrugs.

"Fine. I'll take the floor since you all are big jerks."I say.

"Mind if I take him?"he questions.

"What are you going to do with him?"I ask.

"Fuck him,"he shrugs.

Luke flash next to me. The others laugh.

"You had to ask."Luke mumbles.

I shrug. Then look back at the screen.

"I thought what we had...... was special,"Michael whispers.

"Sucks to suck,"I shrug.
Mimicking him.

Then softly yawn again.

"The youngster sleepy mate,"Ashton smiles.

"Shush up, I'm not a youngster,"I say.

"Uh, how old are you?"he questions.

"Seventeen,"I say.

"How old am I?"he questions.

"Gosh, got to be so sassy?"I question.

"That makes you a youngster since we are a hell of a lot older than you."he says.

"Okay, I'm going to bed."I tell them.

"Good night,"they smile as I walk up the steps.

"Night,"I say.

And went to mine and Luke's bedroom to go to sleep. As I close my eyes I felt a body figure next to me.

I open my eyes and Luke is laying next to me.

"Luke, I'm fine."I tell him.

"I can't let you get hurt again. I can't let that happen to you again."he says.

First couple months when we dated, I was sleeping in his room alone, and I almost got attacked by the enemy. Like, almost got killed-sucked my blood completely. But Luke and the guys were quick and attacked as I start to hide. Luke killed one of the enemies. Then he went to look for me, which was easy for him since he can smell my blood. He found and held me tight. Never wanted to let me go.

"Just you thinking about it makes me worry."he says.

Crap, forgot he can read my mind.

"But I swear that it won't happen, I know you care for me. But I swear it won't happen again."I tell him.

"You don't know when they could attack again."he tells me.

"I know, but it's like you can't trust me."I tell him.

He was silent.

"You don't trust me? Wow, goodnight Lucas."I say. Slightly angry and upset with him.
I toss over, facing my back at him and went to sleep.
