I woke at half 7 I thought I was going to be late. I was running all over the hotel,I was a wreck. Eventually I was ready but it was 5 past 8.
I ran down three flights of stairs, because the elevater was packed. I got to the fountain at about quarter past 8. But david was'nt
there. After about 2 minutes he turned up. The same thing happend to him he got held  back. He took 2 coins out of his pocket gave me one and kept one for himself.

"What is this for?" I asked, already knowing. Well it's a tradition hear that before a date the couple on the date throw a coin each into the fountain but first they Write the first letter of each name on the coin, when the date is over they reach into the fountain pick out one coin each, if they both pick a coin with the 2 letters they wrote on it they go on a second date (It really means they are ment to be.)
"COUPLE, DATE???" I questioned. Well you don't have to do it he said politely.

Fine I'll do it, we both signed the coins, and through them  in.

During dinner we both talked about our interests, and our family. Turns out we have a lot in common.

After dinner we went back to the fountain and drew our coins out our coins. We both looked up at each other I had his coin and he had mine.
