There they were, bandaged and in disarray, lying on the floor in the cockpit of the Firestorm, positioned in a way where their heads connected together, hands clasped as if they were afraid of letting each other go. They weren't even viewing anything, only staring up at the ceiling as if there was something there that only they could see.

Expression blank with exhaustion, Iliana hummed a bit in thought, "You guys alive?"

"That's the fifth time you asked us in an hour, Ana." Iris commented, "We're all just very tired. Please shut up."

"Hey, I just had to check. The one nap I took today was a repeat of the same nightmarish hellscape that was the bad timeline."

Someone squeezed her hand and Irene piped up, "I can assure you that we're very much here and alive."

"Even if we look like corpses here on the floor?" Rei snickered, "Or, y'know the freshest of dames. Imagine if the guys could see us now."

"They weren't invited." Iris huffed a bit, "They're probably talking about how dangerous the whole thing was in the same way guys usually talk about sports."

"Or they could be talking about their feelings. Group therapy is important, considering how many times I've seen people sob today." Irene sounded serious.

"Why aren't we with them?" Rei sat up, brushing her hair aside, "Ya think they're worried at all?"

"Probably not. I mean, we are trying to wean ourselves from being completely connected right now before we all go back to our lives." Iliana groaned as she sat up, "Making sure we don't rely on each other too much, now that all three of you are alive. I'm sure they all understand."

"Pfft. Ya think we won't need to rely on each other? We're heart sisters, ya dipshit. Reliance is au naturale." Rei laughed, clutching her gut.

"I said too much." Iliana huffed in annoyance, "You are such a nuisance."

"I know." There was genuine pride in Rei's smug expression, but part of her seemed to twitch at the same time.

"You're such children." Iris sat up, fluffing her hair out a bit.

"You're younger than all of us... Well, I guess except for Rei." Iliana winced as that stray hair on her head was yanked from behind.

"Technically. But I aged much better than you two combined, since Irene was a better brain to get opinions from, and I had a much longer existance than any of you combined. That's saying something."

"To be fair, Irene has had more experience than we both have had for as long as we've been alive, so ha." Iliana's retorts were as worn out as she was, but did she care? Nah.

Finally, Irene sat up, turning briefly to ruffle the hair of the younger two, "I surely won't miss either of you arguing all the time. It was tiresome, so I hope you both will appreciate the time off from each other."

A collective eye roll.

"Well, I mean now that all of us have our chance at hot dates, we may never interact ever again, so who's up for celebratory frozen mac and cheese before we go mack with our loved ones?" Rei smirked a bit, "Since none of us feel like cooking."

Iris and Iliana tackled Rei and trapped her in a noogie, all rambling at once in retort.

It didn't last that long as they all backed off to take a breather.

A few moments of silence before Iliana tossed her hand out into the middle of the four of them, "Might as well do one of those dorky team chant things for the road."

Rei, Irene, and finally Iris piled their hands on top.

"Four horsemen of heart? Since we all did manage to work together to get here."

Rei wrinkled her nose, "That's a dorky way to put it, but sure. The Four Horsemen we are."

Solemn, exhausted giggles echoed around the area until all breaths stopped.

A dull glow grew in intensity from beneath the pile until it grew much too bright to look at.

A cold wood handle came in contact with Iliana's palm before the light disappeared.

"WHAT?! You get three Keyblades now? No fair!" Rei huffed as she retracted her hand to cross her arms.

"You'll use one eventually, dear Rei. Just not right now. The Keyblade is very picky, you know." Irene reached over to pat Rei's knee with a reassuring smile.

"Back in my day, I had at least ten I could use." Iris crossed her arms as well.

Rei scoffed, "Okay, boomer."

Iris readied her punching arm, but at Irene's calming touch she tucked it back in with the other arm, grumbling insults under her breath.

Iliana ran her hand over the new Keyblade, tracing the loops and heart shapes with a partial look of pride, "It looks kinda dorky for something we made as a group."

Irene hummed a bit, "It was made with love-"

"Which explains a lot." Rei and Iris glared at each other for a second and got into another noogie war, Rei crying "uncle" a couple of minutes in.

"Don't make me use it to knock you both unconscious." Iliana pointed it at the two.

More silence, then laughter.

This was gonna be a long, hard separation process.
