After the shambles that was a goodbye post, being the bigger woman in the situation royally failed. Elisia tried to end things on a good note despite Jake kissing another girl in front of her. It wasn't like the girl to hold grudges, even if she was dying inside. Trying her best to move on from the situation like always, the girl walked into school and headed straight for the courtyard where her best friend was waiting patiently. She walked with her head down and her eyes to the ground, not wanting to look at her surroundings in case she caught the wrong attention aka Jake. Of course, walking without looking is never a good idea as she bumped into a big figure, almost knocking herself over in the process. Luckily, what she bumped into grabbed her quick enough before she hit the ground. A small gasp left the girls mouth and she looked up at her saviour. "Careful little lady, you should probably look where you're going." Monty's warm breath hit her face as he pulled her back up. Of course out of all the people to publicly save her, it.d be Monty. Not that she wasn't thankful, she just couldn't deal with any more rumours. "I-Uh.. sorry." her breath spiked, his intimidation hitting her full force once again. "Thank you for the save.." she glanced up at the boy who was much taller than she was, from the outside they probably looked like a good couple.. right? Monty was quick to chuckle at her response "Wouldn't want you ruining that pretty face of yours." a wink following. Of course, this made her blush all the more, trying to hide it with her scarf but catching his attention all the more. "I-I have to go.." and with that she was practically running away from the boy. Did she seriously just run away?

Finally making it to Tate, Elisia bent over trying to catch her breath leaving Tate confused. "Did you just run a marathon or?" the smirk on her face obvious. "Do.Not.Try.Me. I just.. ran.. away.. from." before she had time to finish, Bryce appeared from behind her friend, arm wrapped tightly around her. "Yooo, Monty." he put out a hand and fist bumped his good friend. "Him.." Elisia finally finished her sentence not fully believing the boy she just ran from was standing right behind her. Tate was struggling to hold in the laugh but the more she looked at Elisia's face turning a brighter red, the harder it was to hold. Turning around slowly, the embarrassment clear on her face, she smiled sweetly at Monty. "I- Hi again.." his lips curling into a smirk, "You were in quite the hurry back there." Oh God, could this moment get any more awkward, quickly looking to her best friend, Tate caught on and thought fast "Uh that was my bad, i told her i had an emergency.." she spoke confidently trying to be convincing enough. "I see, well that's alright i've gotta be somewhere anyway." now his attention on his friend "Bryce, you coming man?" a nod was the only response he got. Looking towards Elisia, Monty winked at the much smaller girl and walked off towards the school, Bryce gently pecking Tate on the lips and closely following behind. When the two boys were out of sight, Tate turned to Elisia "What the hell is going on with you two? You can't say it nothing.." her friend tightly crossed her arms waiting for a reply "Nothing.. Seriously.. He just gave me a lift home the other day." she spoke quickly, probably not convincing enough but still true. "I find that hard to believe.." Tate's face was slightly judgy which Elisia didn't approve. "There's no reason for you to not believe me, you could clearly see how much he intimidates me.." eyes firmly to the ground now not wanting to see her friend judging her all the more "What? Why? He's not scary he's just a bit of a dick." she shrugged. "Exactly.. and that scares me." Elisia couldn't quite figure it out herself, what was it about that boy that made her so nervous? Was it the way he could be so violent even when unprovoked? Maybe because he was completely different to her. Either way, nothing would ever happen between them even if she did want it to.

The two headed into the school to start their day, thankfully they both had math and attended the same class. It was the one class that only the two of them were in together, no ex's no boyfriends.. just the two of them. It was the one day the two could gossip without certain people overhearing them. As they took their seats, the teacher entered with a student neither of them recognised at first. To be honest, Elisia was distracted as she looked for her pen. "Students, i'd like you to welcome our new student.. Miss Cheryl Bloom. Please make her feel at home." Still distracted, Tate had clocked on to who the girl was and quickly nudged Elisia. "It's her.." confused by what her friend was talking about, Elisia looked to the front of the class to see a red head standing there, books in her arms. Elisia's face dropped at the sight of the girl who kissed her ex right in front of her. It wasn't like Elisia to pull such horrid faces but in this moment she couldn't help it. If things couldn't get any worse, the teacher stationed her beside Elisia. Noticing the cocky look on the girls face, Elisia turned to Tate and mouthed "You have got to be kidding me." followed by an eye roll. Tate simply looked at the girl and gave her a stank face, making sure she knew exactly how the girl felt about her. This year was going to hell and Elisia was not here for it.
