In the Equestrian year of 1996, there was a war being fought across the sea. One country was creating two parties, and causing fighting within itself. The two parties were as so; "The Defenders" and "The Rebels". The Rebel party wanted a separation of the country, and wanted it to be divided into two. The Defenders wanted the exact opposite of this. There was lord of fighting. One day, the country of Equatien decided they would intervene, and fight with the Defenders, as the rebel forces were greater than that of the defenders. The Equatian military was known for always getting the job done, so they were greatly feared on the battlefield. The fighting continued for years.
We find ourselves in the midst of the war, in 1998, October 30th.
