Myself

2 0 1

Don’t let them tell you something your not.

Don’t let them push you over the edge.

Don’t let them hurt you.

No, not the bullies around you, but yourself.

Your own demons that haunt you,

Dreaming that you could be greater than the haters and the traitors,

Your not!

Or at least that’s what your reflection seems to repeat back to you.

The projection of these words is an infection running through our veins.

It their fault we say,

We open a door to let their phrases flow inside.

It's our fault,

It's my fault.

I am only as strong as what I let inside.

Sometimes there are only a few who need to be with you.

And many that need to leave you.

I am only as strong at what I let inside.

You are only as strong as what you let inside.

You are amazing,

As bright as the blazing sun,

And you dare let someone take what's yours.

Your confidence,

Your passions,

You will stand the Nation's,

Surpass the masses,

Don't open that door.
