I am so glad this week is almost over it's been the longest week ever..... The Prince and his entourage has arrived a few days ago as always I was kept away from everything, according to my sisters he is quite the catch.
I have been so restless this past week and Rosa aswell and there is this smell I keep on smelling it's a combination of mint and chocolate maybe I'm crazy. But it is not strong it's a faint smell oh well ......
Dimitri' POV
I have been here a week now and everything seems to be ok ! The Alpha seems like a descent wolf so does his wife and two younger daughters, I have yet to meet his eldest daughter. I have asked but was told she is very busy and I will meet her at the ball ...
My warriors have even made friends with their warriors to find out if everything is ok and so far so good maybe to good ! I am actually busy sending my dad and email telling him everything is ok ! I could have called but with wolf hearing I don't want to take any chances.
There's a knock at my door and I yell for them to come in, it's Jake and Sam my best friends! So Dimitri how you holding up ? asks Jake . Sam just slouched on the couch looking boared.... I am ok just can't wait for the Ball tomorrow night... So what have you guys been up to anything interesting happened?
Well we went with some of them to a club last night and some of them got quite talkative. There is definitely something happening here but they are scared to say something.... They hinted that the eldest daughter are being overly protected and said that she was different in a way. We asked why ? And they said that they only see her from a far but that she has an powerful aura around her and it's got nothing to do with her being the Alpha'daughter.
The only people allowed near her is her family and then she has a omega that tend to her chambers and only she is allowed in or out ... Apparently she is very friendly but lonely..... Ok thanks guys see you tomorrow before the ball then..
Day of the Ball

Finally the day is here I am finally 18 Yippeee !! But I am quite exhausted and just wish this whole day is over and done with really Ugh .....Seriously are you kidding me !!!! Rosa yells in my head . We could find our mate tonight and be free and you just want it over ! What the hell Rosa why are you yelling at me I ask ? Because you are being a real ass that's why !!! Well I am tired you know it's been a really long week , I feel on edge and you are not making it better with constantly yelling and being moody ...... I am sorry Ariel it's just that I feel something is going to happen . Ok well let's just breath and try to stay calm please...
There is a knock at the door and as soon as I say enter in comes my "glam squad" as I call them! I sigh and try to control my breathing it's gonna be a long afternoon getting ready !!
Finally I am done 3 hours of torture ...... As soon as they leave I turn to look in the Mirror and I am in total shock when I see myself .. I have never in my life felt so pretty my dress is out of this world

There is a soft knock and in comes mom ! She stares at me for a minute and smiles a soft smile ! "You look absolutely stunning Ariel" she says .... I can see she seems a bit emotional so I go forward and hug her tightly.... She whispers in my ear that she hopes that I find my mate tonight and that I will be happy ! Thanks mom ... So she gives me a small box and says it's my birthday present as soon as I open it , I gasp for air because inside on a velvet pillow lies a necklace . It has a purple emerald in the middle.
Oh mom it's so beautiful thank you so much! She leaves and says she will see me in a bit ! Another knock on the door and it's Jason ready to escort me to the ball Come on let's go, I am so excited we are gonna have so much fun tonight is the beginning of our lives Rosa says ! All I can do is just sigh and start walking behind Jason..
The closer I get to the ballroom the more anxious I feel, it's only Rosa that keeps me going I can smell all the people and I don't know how I am going to handle this ! I am not used to so many people, this is all my dads fault for keeping me so secluded dammit !!!
Just before Jason opens the doors to the ballroom I stop him! Please stop Jason I need to catch my breath as I feel I am panicking! Jason looks at me and says I must take deep breaths and I should not worry he will be by my side the whole time.....
As soon as he opens the door and announces me, everybody looks at me and starts making a path for me ..... You can do this Ariel you can ...... oh my Can you smell that can you ? Rosa asks I try to push Rosa to the back of my mind as I am feeling so stressed and then it hits me!
The smell of mint and chocolate so overwhelming that I swear I can taste it !! What the fuck is happening...............
