Samantha POV~

What is he doing here? How? Why? With all these questions circling in my mind, I found I was kinda happy to see him.
"Josh?"

"In the flesh!" he answered.

"As good as it is to see you, can I talk to you in the living room?" I inquired.
He nodded and I took the lead to the space.

"So, uh, I have a couple of questions. Like how did you know where my grandma lived?"

Josh rubbed the back of his neck nervously and said, "Well, in a non creepy way, I kinda stalked you" I raises my eyebrows and he stumbled on with his explanation "It's just, you didn't text me last night that you got home safely. I was dumb and forgot to give you my number, but you gave me yours so I tried to call and text you. Obviously, you didn't answer or else I wouldn't have freaked and did all this." After finishing, he exhaled a huge breath.

"I'm sorry you went through all this trouble for me. It was very sweet of you. I was asleep or else I would have answered...obviously." I chuckled. "So breakfast? Oh and I haven't told my grandma of last nights events yet so could you, ya know, not say anything about it?"

Josh gave me a small smile, "Of course. I'm starving!"

Josh POV~

As we made our way back to the kitchen, I heard Grandma Kole humming as she finished making pancakes.

"Hope you two have everything settled because my chocolate chip pancakes are done!"

Sam laughed and responded, "I believe we do, Grams"

I took this as a cue to leave. "I would hate to impose anymore than I already have, so I think I'll leave you guys to your breakfast."

Grams Kole gave me a are-you-crazy-look, "Oh hun, I don't think the two of is can eat all this. Come on, take a seat."

I smiled, "If you say so."

Samantha shook smirked and shook her head, "You really thought you could make it out of here without her feeding you? Rookie mistake."

With a grin, I retorted, "Pffft, I am just trying to be a gentleman."

She took a bite of a syrup soaked pancake, and got chocolate on the tip of her nose. Should I tell her or just enjoy this? Definitely the latter.

Grams took this moment to pipe up and finally ask the question I knew was coming, "So how do you guys know each other?" she looked back and forth between us expectantly.

Samantha zoned in on her plate like it was the most interesting thing in the world and with a detached answer, "He's my Superman, Grams."
