"Bro, isnt that the girl from the party" Jose said, making me do a 180 in the grocery store parking lot. There stood beautiful Violet, handing out food to the homeless. Such a kind thing to do. I smiled like an idiot as she looked my way. She gave a little wave, and i waved back, causing me to drop the grocery's i had been holding, she giggled and started jogging my way, Jose cursed as he walked back inside to get more eggs.
"Your a bit of a clutz arnt you?" She said as i smiled like an idiot, Violet helped me pick up the grocerys.
"How are you doing?" I asked, indicating the night she was almost raped.
A dark shadow cast over her face, she gave me a weak smile "Great, because of you" She playfully hit my shoulders. i smiled and playfuly hit her back
"Would you like to go on a date sometime?" I asked, catching her by complete suprise. she looked at me spectical, then she gave me a slow gentle smile.
"I'd love to" we exchanged numbers and went our seprate ways. I waited in the car for Jose to come back out with the eggs i had broken. He opened the door and plopped down into it.
"Did you get her number?" He asked excitedly, i nodded my head vigoursly. We laughed and talked about Violet the whole way to my house.

"Liam, were home" I yelled. There was banging on the walla and screaming, looks like Liam found hiimself another girl to fill the empty void in his heart.
Liam didnt always use to be a jackass player. He used to be in love with this girl named, Kathy, but he never made his move on her, he watched her fall in love, and today she has 2 kids, and will be getting married soon. But he stayed beside her through all of it. They still stay in contact, and he still loves her, but he was always the best friend, nothing more
now, he has sex with any girl he can get his dirty little paws on, he flirts with them, fucks them, leaves them, on to the next. Thats his motto
Jose put all the food away as i walked into my bedroom, placing Violets number in my top dresser drawer. Violet, she was special, i already knew that. i couldnt take her on some cliche date, it had to be something awesome, something she would love.
I laid down on my bed and thought about it all night long, but the problem was i didnt know her enough. Ive only seen her twice, once at a party, and another time at a grocery store. Then, the best idea came into my mind. I picked up the phone and made a call.

"A soup kitchen?" she asked laughing. I felt my cheeks burn with embaressment. I thought she would like this. She pulled me into a hug.
"I wasnt sure if you would like it" I muttered.
She giggled "I love it, lets go" we hurried into the kitchen and spent our day feeding homeless people. It was actually a pretty good feeling. Seeing the faces of homless people light up at the sight of food was heart warming.
A few hours later we left. "Wow, that was amazing" I whispered.
"I know, seeing there faces after they've eaten, its amazing" I wrapped my arms around her to stop her from shivering, It was a cold night. She smiled and took a deep breath.
"Is everything ok?" I asked
She smiled "I've never met anyone like you, your different"
I smiled and kissed her cheek. We now stood in front of my car, i opened the door, but before she got in i pulled her to me and kissed her. She seemed shocked at first, but then kissed me back. She giggled as i walked around to my side of the car.
Driving her home, it was silent. i dropped her off, she skipped over t my side of the car and whispered "Dont you ever change" Then went inside
