The Battle

It had been how long now?
Weeks?
Months?
I didn't know. I knew that the machines had been going for ages. I knew I hadn't made any noise for days. I knew help wasn't coming. I knew I was on my own except for Abnyssa. When she could, she would appear and scare the people off. I had given up hope, but she hadn't and it was only thanks to her fighting that they hadn't finished. Yet that's when the heroes finally came.

I heard screams from outside, I smelled blood and I knew what was going on. I did my best to drag myself to my feet, and Abnyssa flickered into existence.
"It's time" she said. I knew what was coming. Abnyssa broke my chains and I felt power surge through me once again. Abnyssa flickered out of existence. I was on my own now.
I snuck outside and saw the horror unfold. It was a scene from my nightmares. Pro's were scattered all ove4 the place, horribly injured. All Might and All For One were head and headed. Bendigo was trying to hold his own against the League. It was hopeless. The villains were winning and it would be over in minutes. That's when I saw Midoriya and Shinso. They were hidden behind a wall with Todoroki, Yaoyarozu, Kirishima and Iida. They were frozen in fear. Eraser Head leapt into the battle as well.
It might be impossible, but I have to save them.
I have to save my family!

I leapt down, with newfound courage. All For One was the first to notice me.
"Experiments are done I see?" He spoke. It sent shivers down my spine.
'Stay focused and dodge his attacks, if we work together we can win!' Abnyssa spoke in my mind and I understood. My left eye turned red and my ears and tail showed. I felt Abnyssa create shadow wings on my back.
"Perfect" All For One smiled. Eraser Head seemed shocked and All Might glared at AFO, his smile didn't falter though.
"I think you have the wrong idea..." All For One realised what I was saying. "You're messing with my pack..." Eraser Head smiled.
"That means war!" I charged at All For One. Fire, Shadow and a blue and red glow surrounding me. All For One took a step back before I hit him with everything. The fire scorched everything around him, the shadows pierced him and the blue and red glow surrounded him, but he stood strong. All Might hit him from behind and he stumbled forwards. I saw the condition Eraser Head was in and I rushed over to him.
"No, no, no, no," I muttered. There was a stab wound in his side, barely away from his heart. I tried healing it but it kept bleeding. He was unconscious and I kept trying to wake him up.
Something smashed into me from behind, and I went flying. By the time I was getting up again, All For One was on the floor, unconscious and All Might was in his civilian form. I struggled to get up before realising my leg was broken. I healed it and stumbled over to Eraser Head. He was awake now and clutching his side. He groaned and tried to stand but Recovery Girl was there and she pushed him back down.
"Don't be reckless Shouta! You need medical treatment now!" Recovery Girl pointed out. She kissed the spot but nothing happened.
"It won't work, that would be from All For One trying to steal his quirk. I can't even heal it" I mutter.
'Look out!'
Abnyssa uses the shadows to protect me but it doesn't matter. As the appendage shoots past and hits Eraser Head in the heart. I scream and try to pull at it, but it wraps around me. I feel like I'm burning.
'Don't close your eyes, it's like how it felt when you allowed me to go in but a million times worse. He's forcefully giving you all of the emitter quirks and All For One'
I struggle and suddenly it drops me. Midoriya and Shinso are standing behind an unconscious All For One. I fall to my knees. The burning sensation is still there, but it's fading. I look at my hands and my eyes go wide as a blue and red light travels up my arm.
'Forced quirk activation, but what quirks did you copy?'
I try not to think about that yet. I look around at the destruction that was caused.
'How many are dead?' I think. Abnyssa answers the question.
'1 or 2 million, half of UA is dead and so is... your Mother and Father'
I fall back down and tears sting my eyes. Midoriya and Shinso rush over. Abnyssa gets rid of the wings.
"Are you ok?" Shinso asks an impossible question. I'm physically dine but everything else is broken. I couldn't do anything to save Eraser Head, I couldn't save my dad. Midoriya hugs me and hug him back, I don't want to let go but I can't hold on forever. All Might comes over and looks at dad's body.
"There was nothing you could do Young Saku-"
"Aizawa, my names Aizawa" I lock eyes with All Might and he nods.
"Young Aizawa, there was nothing you could do, you yourself are lucky to still be standing" All Might points out. I know he's right but it doesn't stop me from wondering...
What if I had done it differently?
