Chapter 4: Your mind is my new best friend
Desiree's P.O.V.
I rub my hands together trying to warm them as my teeth slightly chatter.
He licks his lips,"You cold?"
"Yes, very" I nod
He turns the seat warmer on for me and starts flipping through the stations and eventually slips in a cd and skips a few tracks when I hear "My mind is a warrior, my heart is a foreigner" hmmm, a Sheeran boy I see, "My eyes are the color of red like a sunset" the song continues. I tap my fingers to the beat and quietly sing along.
"You listen to Ed Sheeran?" He says taking notice in my singing.
"Yes, he's probably one of my favorite singers!"
"We're definitely going to get along perfectly, you know I'm actually pretty good friends with him right?" He replies turning the heat up.
"You are so lying!"
"No I'm serious, he wrote a song for our album too, I swear!"
Oh yeah, he's famous, obviously he's going to be friends with other famous people..
"Hmmm, are you trying to impress me?" I wink
"Well maybe a little, but you should meet him someday, he's amazing"
"That would be great, I love him! Uhm, by the way, where exactly are you taking me?" I say trying my best not to fangirl.
"The best place on earth, now be patient and enjoy the music love"
He takes my hand from my lap and holds it in his as he plays with the rings on my fingers. He rolls down the windows and we drive for miles getting away from the city and going through through lost roads not even a GPS can find while we sing together to Ed Sheeran.
