A spasm! Then a flash and immediately the limbs begin to change their shape... pulling, stretching, tearing themselves.. Every inch of skin rebels against the body and looks different from itself, while the eyes go towards each other as if to seek help and then close. From all over the body, large spikes begin to sprout, becoming little dark feathers like coal from there.. The pain is very strong, the head bends backwards... then a heartbreaking scream! The legs no longer hold him up and the man crouches on the ground, exhausted, while his transformation into a crow continues... His arms become long wings, the tapered legs legs and the feet in legs dale sharp claws. "AAAAAAARGHHHHHHHH!" the man shouts in the deadly silence of the woods where he is, in a small clearing that has made its way through all that green.. The dark figure is changing into a majestic raven under the gentle moonlight that illuminates the very black feathers and irises that have become meanwhile red and bloodshot. Another spasm even stronger!! The crow with human features is exhausted and holds its head and long low wings breathing quickly while an expression of pain is printed on its face. A stronger breath, then an extreme jolt: the mutation is over... The crow looks around grimly, between the thick thicket covered with a thick mist and penetrating into the bones. He quickly jumps through the trees and silently settles on the highest branch of Brocket Hall... The sinuous and powerful body, the very black and shiny wings, almost give off their own light. The red and bright eyes that leave a crystalline trail behind them. He remains unperturbed, still as a statue in the darkness of that wood. Then suddenly a leap! All his muscles are stretched and the great crow takes flight in the heavy sky without stars and pitch dark.. He flies on Lemsford, on Halthfield, on Welham Green and then on South Mimms... then a wide flight on Egware and then Mayfair while the body flexes and the wide wings split the air with supersonic speed... Here it is flying over Sant Paul's cathedral and resting for a while between its spiers... Without hesitating for a moment, then again, he takes flight, powerful, this time towards Buckingham Palace to once again see his beloved woman... Like a yearning impossible to placate, the crow still wants to see again the woman he loves.. In the sky he flies majestically and lands in the garden of the villa. Victoria is there watching that black sky and no stars.. He looks at her from behind a tree, how beautiful, sweet. She's a little thin woman with her skin looking like the moon and little high blue eyes that this moment are turned towards the window.. He's behind the wall, trying not to be seen, with the legs on the ground and the wings curved to form a bow, while the reaspiro becomes live almost as if it does not want to disturb its thoughts, with an anguished tension mixed with a piercing love. She's so beautiful, her red lips, her cheeks, her skin by the colour of pure ivory... Then one more click! The time has come to go. The crow flies away again towards Brocket Hall before falling unconscious on the mansion patio. The mighty but slender animal is turning back into a man. . He is a handsome and tall man with strong hands, short, dark and curly hair that ends with two large sideburns, green eyes with some darker spots here and there that can be seen between the thick eyelashes, protruding cheekbones as if they were carved in the marble of a powerful and wonderful Greek statue... Few graceful wrinkles embellish the face and while thin lips end with a gentle downward curvature.. He is on the ground, lying on his side, he seems dead... From the lip a few drops of blood fell on the ancient marble of the patio.. The crow fainted before touching the ground and now lies motionless... Only an imperceptible breath makes us understand that he's still alive.. He breathes! The pallor of the skin begins to appear again as the feathers gradually disappear. His name is Lord Melbourne and he is the Prime Minister of the British Empire...
