Chapter 1

Jing Mei POV

I came to school a little bit earlier than I thought. I was at my locker and my brother came to me and slammed my locker door in front of my face:

"Hey Nerdy!"
"Your being nice, what do you need?"
"I need your help, I 'like' this one girl"
"Are you sure you like her?"
"Oh my god, Jing Mei, you're no help!"
"UGHHH, bye than"
My annoying brother Taehyung went away. I went to my English class. I sat in the back row in the middle. Class started.

Yeonwo POV

I was very late for my first class because I was playing with one boy and I didn't realise the bell already rang. I kissed the boy for goodbye and ran to my English class.

I arrived about 10 minutes late and the teacher was not happy at all:
"Miss Moon why are you late?"
"Ugghhh,sorry, I'm going now"
"Detention after class for disrespecting the school authority!"
"Fine with me"

I was so fed up with the teachers here, I sat in the only place available in class, next to a nerd. I knew her, her name is Kim Jing Mei, I bullied her sometimes. 'God why do I have to sit with her, let's just get this over with' she respectively moved, to free me a seat and I sat next to her.

We were silent the whole class unil:
"So class we will be doing a project, be careful tho, it will count for 50% of your grade!"
"WHAT!!"
"You have one month to finish it and present it, you're doing it with a partner, I will pair you"

She was calling out student names, I was so frustrated, I didn't like anybody in this class.
"And miss Moon with miss Kim"
"WHAT THE--!!"
"No swearing miss Moon!"
Ughhh great I was partners with her now.

Jing Mei POV

"And miss Moon with miss Kim"

'SAY WHAT?!'
She is pairing me up with one of the biggest bullies, I will never survive this! But I'm doing it for my grade, it's half my final grade, I have to make this count!

"You're free to chat with your partner for the rest of class about what you will write about. The main theme is English history, free topic, write whatever you want"
I was hesitant

"Sooo... I'm Jing Mei"
Very smooth
"I know"
Rude...
"So what do you want to write about? We can write about Queen Elizabeth I. or Mary Queen of Scots?"
"Whatever you decide, I'm just doing this for the grade"
"Right, well since we're going for a good grade let's write both"
"Sure"
"How about we start today? Can we go to your house?"
"Ummm... Why not yours"
"Okay, meet me at the gate after school"
"Okay"

*riiiiiinggggg*

The bell rang, we exchanged numbers and went on with our classes. Wow... I'm doing a project with one of the school's biggest bullies, let's see where this goes...
