The inside of the shop smelled of old books. When you walked in, Wilbur would greet you with a friendly smile.
You would have never seen so many items in one place. The grandfather clock on the right ticked a steady beat, and the rain outside was steadily streaming along the sidewalk. As you walk inside, you would see an old book. It was silently standing on top of a shelf. Inside it read about a little girl, who had many hopes and dreams. It's funny that someone's memories could've been yours for the taking. On your left, an old sofa sat in the corner of the shop. The sign on top of it firmly stated that it wasn't for sale. You move around the store silently to not disturb Wilbur. He was reading a book. He would occasionally look at you just in case you needed anything.
There was always something in there that would catch your eye. Such as old books, chairs, and prized pianos sitting, waiting for a new owner to pick it up, and to play it with joy.
