"...£3.50 for a bag of M&Ms?! Are they taking the piss...?" Taehyun grumbled, browsing the snack stand in the lobby of the movie theatre.
(a/n: i don't speak dollar im sorry😔😔 according to google that's like $4.50???)

Beomgyu came up behind him, smiling.
"It's okay, I'll get you something,"

"I don't always need your charity..." Taehyun turned away.
—He was still angry at Beomgyu.
He didn't want to be here double dating with Yeonjun and Soobin, but he didn't have a choice.

"Don't be grumpy," Beomgyu tutted, taking out his wallet. "Do you like popcorn?"

"I said I don't want anything." Taehyun snapped.

"Salt or caramel flavour?" Beomgyu ignored his continuous whining.

Taehyun just straight-up glared.
"...Caramel."

Beomgyu smiled harder. "Why don't you go find the other two and get us some seats...?"

Taehyun nodded half-heartedly, walking away from Beomgyu, navigating his way to the screening room.

He was on the look-out for Yeonjun or Soobin, but they weren't really that difficult to spot.
—The guys in question had found a relatively empty row nearer the back of the room, probably so they could have some privacy.

It was dark, but Taehyun could see them cuddling up, like they weren't aware they were still in a public environment or something.

Regardless, he approached them, taking a seat beside Yeonjun who gave him a welcoming smile.

"Where's Beom?" He asked.

"He's getting the snacks..." Taehyun replied.

—Soobin was sipping on his soda absently, reaching out to hold Yeonjun's hand in excitement when the adverts stopped playing.
"I think it's starting!"

Right on cue, Beomgyu arrived with a large box of popcorn.
He found them, standing over Taehyun, looking down at him.

"Ah, Taehyun..." He lowered his voice to a whisper. "Could you move up...?"

"Move up...?" Taehyun frowned slightly, but then it all made sense.
Beomgyu wanted to sit by Yeonjun, and that's all he cared about...

Taehyun stood up, switching seats like he'd been requested to; Beomgyu then happily sat down beside Yeonjun, leaning forward closer to him so he could catch his attention.

"Jun do you want some...?" He asked hopefully, holding the box of popcorn out towards him.

Yeonjun looked back.
"Thanks, but Bin and I already have one to share~"

Taehyun scoffed quietly to himself.
Why the hell was Beomgyu putting up with this...?
Why the hell did he want to double date with this guy when he was only just going to get his feelings hurt...?

...Why the hell did he have to love Choi Yeonjun?
