Lights, sirens, blood..

That's all Rebecca could see and hear when she came to.

The last thing she remembered was leaving the arena after the event that night.

Colby, her best friend, had been right behind her the entire time as they were staying in the same hotel.

When he saw the crash happen, he immediately jumped out of his car and ran to Rebecca.

"Becks.. hey look at me" he said gently stroking her face
"Colby?" She questioned as tears started to well in her eyes
"Don't cry, everything's going to be alright, your going to be ok" he said trying to calm her down
"The baby" she cried "what about the baby?"

Baby? What baby? Sure they had been secretly hooking up for the last month or so but surely she wasn't pregnant, they were careful and she was on the pill. Even if she was pregnant, why didn't she tell him?

"What baby Rebecca?" Colby asked
"I'm bleeding" Rebecca cried "Colby I'm bleeding"
"I know you are, the ambulance is on it's way. Your going to be okay" he said "just stay still"

Colby looked down and took note of the blood and how much she had lost.

Still the question of what baby floated around his mind.

If Rebecca was pregnant, and it was his, they could both lose the child in a matter of seconds..
