THE MEANING OF "WERE"

in latin, (or maybe greek, but probably latin) the word root "were" translates "human". for example, a werewolf is basicly half human half wolf, hence the name "werewolf" and not humanwolf or something like that. so "werefish" would be part human part fish, so "were" dosn't only go with "wolf" you can have "werebears" or "wereladybug". maybe doctor-donna is a weretimelord. Anything is possible!
