Help me out here!

From an outside point of view, you and Senku were two completely opposite forces, in two opposite worlds. While he was the smartass, spending any spare time he had in one of the science room doing his weirdly advanced experiments, you were the popular kid, always socializing with others, always hanging out somewhere with a group of people. Everybody knew your contact list was packed.
But to the people in your high-school, the two of you were THE odd couple. You rarely saw each-other, but everytime you'd pass by the other's class or run into each-other, you'd always talk like you knew each-other for a long time. And sometimes, you'd get involved in some crazy shenanigans. People could see you enjoyed each-other's company, even when you didn't admit it. Plus people noticed that you always walked to school together. Though the rumors at some point said otherwise, you weren't dating. You were neighbors, for a long time actually. And you naturally got to know each-other and you became friends.

That day, you stormed into Senku's science club, making him almost let go of a drop of this new dangerous chemical he was about to mix with this other dangerous chemical.
"What the hell (Y/n)?!" he turned towards you after carefully setting his tube down, pissed off.

But he became more confused when he saw the look on your face. You seemed bothered, which didn't happened often. And you were panting, you must've hurried up here, which never happened.
"I'm sorry." you said. "But do you mind if I take you away from your club for a sec?"
Senku groaned, annoyed to leave in the middle of his experiment.
"Right when it was about to get exiting." he mumbled before walking towards you, picking his ear. "Fine~, but be quick-wah!"
"Thank you thank you~!" you grabbed his arm with both your hands and dragged him out.

"...500 yens she confesses to him." one of the club members said after they've been left by their president.
"1000 yens she just asks him for help with her science homework." another one said.

You led Senku to the cafeteria, and bought him a drink to thank him for his time.
"If this is about your science homework again..." he said as you sat down beside each-other in a secluded table.
You chuckled.
"No, nothing like that." you leaned closer to him, speaking more softly. "I have a favor to ask you."
"Huh? Nothing to do with science?"
"Uh, no?"
"Then I'm not interested." he began to stand up.
"No! Senku please!" you wrapped your arms around his, and gently pulled him back on his chair. "I really need this!"

"Urh~ what is it?"
"Okay so, there's this guy."
Senku raised an eyebrow at the word 'guy'. You kept going.
"I'm going out with him and a few other friends on saturday, and I wanted to ask if you could-"
"I'm not gonna be your wingman." he said with a stoic tone. "Deal with your feelings yourself."
"What? No, that's not what I'm asking." you shook her head. "He displayed all the signs that he likes me and he'll definitely take this opportunity to ask me out or make a move. And his friends will surely help him. And I don't want that to happen."
"So what? You want us to act like we're a couple?" he asked, openly cringing at the idea of such a stupid childish plan.
"No! That's not what I'm asking either!" you looked down. "I just...don't want to be alone with him." you looked back at him. "Will you do this for me, please?"

You stared at each-other's eyes for a moment. Senku sighed and rested his hand on the palm of his hand.
"Fine~." he said before taking a sip of his drink, which he almost chocked on because of your un-called for hug.
"Thank you thank you thank you~!" you enthusiastically exclaimed.
"Oi! Get it together!"
You finally let the poor boy go, still smiling widely at him. He clicked his tongue as a response.
"What a bother..." he mumbled to himself.

You stood in front of Senku's house, all dressed up and ready to go. While waiting, you looked down at your outfit, and was so proud of yourself. A large sweater combined with a skirt stopping at mid-thigh, showcasing your freshly shaved legs, little boots and handbag. The perfect combo between warm, fresh and casual. Perfect for the beginning of Autumn, when it's just starting to get a bit cold, but it's still warm if you stay in the sun. Dressing up before going out was a whole process to you, and you were always proud of what you bring out.
'Oh~ bitch! Bitch I am CUTE!' you thought.
