Chapter 3

MAXONS POV
I woke up with my wife, and now I guess baby beside me. I guess I'm excited. But I'm extremely nervous. How would everyone react? Her family?
Thinking of them made me think my parents would never meet my first born child. A tear slipped down my cheek but I quickly wiped it away. Come on Maxon. Your the king. Start acting like it.
All of a sudden America woke up.
"Good morning my dear."
She playfully slapped me. "Don't!" She laughed.
"Ok, ok." I replied laughing "so do you want to go to work today?" I asked.
"Of course." She replied "why wouldn't I?"
"Well you know."
"Maxon please don't treat me different!" She was serious now.
"Ok. I just don't want you to get stressed. It's bad for the baby."
She laughed, then her faced turned to stone.
"What is it my de-, America?"
"I just realized; we need to find out who to tell."
"Yes." I replied.
"I think we should take the day of work." She said
"I agree." I sat down beside her.
"First of all, my mom and kenna. We will tell them today. The rest of my siblings can wait. I need there help."
"Ok." I replied. "When should we tell the rest?"
"Well, I'm 1 month along." She said. "Maybe in a week?"
"That sounds good."
"And I have to tell Marlee today." She said
"Alright, how about aspen?"
"No."she quickly said. "He is just like everyone else to me. He finds out when the country finds out."
"Speaking of which," I replied. "When should they."
"Not until they have to." She said. "Which will be 4 months."
"So, should we go tell your mom and Kenna?" I asked
"I guess." She said. I could tell she was nervous.
Americas mother and family were staying at the castle until they moved into the house we bought them.
We knocked on the door.
May answer
"Hey may, is mom there?"
"Ya hang on."
Mrs.Singer came out wearing and apron.
"Oh good morning Maxon and America!" She said
"Good morning." I replied.
"Uh mom, there is something we need to tell you." Americas voice was shaky.
"Alright, please come in."
May looked upset when we went in a private room with mrs.singer. I'm sure she wanted to know everything going on.
"So mom, we wanted to tell you, that we're having a baby." America said really fast.
"Oh, that's great! When are you telling the others?"
"Well, I'm telling Kenna today, I thought I could use your guys help. And maybe the others, in about a week."
"Well that's wonderful you two, congratulations!" She said.
"Thank you." We both said they left the room.

Later America excitedly told Kenna and Marlee, who were both thrilled. Later on that night we snuggled in and went to sleep
