Vampires first bite

Trouble

I hadn't realize right there and then when I woke up I was in a comfy bed. I was still half asleep and wasn't in any shape, or form to get up out of bed. "Xavier..?" I sat up and rubbed my eyes so they could adjust to the lighting. It was clearly still dark outside. "I'm here." Xavier said in a soft tone, kind of like he was trying to apologize for the shock collar. The shock collar. I thought. I rubbed my neck to feel that there was no collar on it. Phew. I snuggled back under the covers and fell asleep until Xavier woke we up with coffee in bed. "Thank you." I said as he handed me my coffee. "It's no problem." He said. "Look, I'm sorry about last night. I was angry that you had tried to escape-"Yeah,yeah. Big deal." I said coldly. "What happened to my daughter..?" My voice a little shakey. "She's fine, eating breakfast right now if you wanna go down there- "No, no I'm fine." I felt a sigh of relief when I heard she wasn't hurt because of me.

After I had finished my coffee I got dressed and roamed the house for a while because there was nothing else to do. There was about 37, 38 my mind corrected me. 38 floors of rooms, and it bathrooms. All of the rooms were big, there were roughly 12 rooms on each floor, it was all calm until I heard windows shatter in the ground floor, I took the elevator to see what was wrong, and all of the Vampires A lot of them. Were trying to fight off wolves. Dirty mutts. "Move our of my way." I said to some Vampires in the back so I could see what was happening. Xavier and Isabelle were fighting off wolves, but clearly needed help. So, I helped one time. Big deal. As soon as my eyes were glowing red most of the wolves could sense how powerful I was, so they all went after me. Jesus. Wolves are heavy. Some other Vampires stepped in but I couldn't tell who because one of the wolves wasn't giving up like the rest of them. Ria, a girl I would talk too, was super fast, and could increase her power by feeding off fear. I was on the last straw with this wolf.
"You're getting on my nerves!" I yelled throwing the wolf at a wall, A vampire with a bow had shot a couple times and the wolf was dead. "Thanks!" I said catching my breath. "Any time!" He winked. And then, a wolf bit her.
