(El pov)
"How the hell do you always win" I say looking into her ocean blue eyes. "Because I'm unbeatable" she says back smiling. God I love her smile. I kiss her gently on the lips, I feel her kiss back as I slowly pull away and smile. Shes perfect she doesn't think she is but shes the most important thing to me I would die without her. All of a sudden I hear banging on my door. I quickly pull away from the kiss.
(Max pov)
I look at the front door in fear. "El call your dad its Neil, he knows I'm here" El runs to the radio and does SOS. I hear Neil still banging in the door I run and turn the lights off hoping he didn't see them on. I hide under Els bed hoping Hopper gets here soon. I hear the door. The covers lift up and I see Els face. "Hey its ok. My dads almost here" she whispers to me. She slides under the bed and tries to calm me down. She pulls my close and I hear distant sirens. El smiles knowing its her dad. I buried my face into Els chest. "Max its ok. My dads gonna put him in jail. He has like a million charges. Mostly hate crimes but still" she says. I giggle softly. The pounding stops and I hear Neil screaming "I'M SORRY YOUR DAUGHTERS A F*CKING DYKE. MAXINE I KNOW YOU HEAR ME. NO ONE LIKES YOU. NO ONE WILL EVERY LOVE YOU." I start to cry. El pulls my closer to her chest. "I love you" she plants a kiss on my head and rubbed my cheek gently. "If anything he's gonna at least be gone tonight. Plus your 18 so like the cops can't really take you home" She always speaks facts "Doesn't make him less scary" I say back. We climb onto the actual bed and relaxed. Then we hear a knock on our door.
