Just Friends?

The First Few Years

                 It was 2014 when a new boy moved to town, it just happens he was placed into the same 5th grade class as the cheerleader Delilah. The principal introduced Mark to Delilah's class, but she was too shy and scared o new people to really talk to him the first few weeks. After a while they you joke and cut up and really enjoy each others company. He move into town during the second semester so they didn't really have a lot of time to bond and get to know each other better, because of this the pair went almost a full year without talking to each other.

                After that long year the two finally reconnected on the bus in 6th grade, and desperately wanted to get close with him. They began to bond instantly and slowly began to fall for each other. The more they became friends, the more the hung out, and because of that the more they fell for each other. There friendship eventually lead to Mark asking out Delilah on the last day on 6th grade oh course she said yes, so that whole day they spent time together goofing off and having so much fun. Before they knew it the best day ever was over and they had to part ways for the summer.

               With the hard goodbyes over they had to go their own ways for the summer meaning they wouldn't have any contact for three months. Over that three months they hoped for school to start back quickly, until Delilah had a summer camp with one of her toxic exes. It was going all good but her toxic ex Andrew was so jealous he started making fun of her because she was dating Mark. It just so happens that a kid who was switching to their middle school had a crush on Delilah, so Andrew took advantage of the situation. He bullied Delilah into thinking that Mark didn't actually like her and forced her to get closer with the new kid Jeff. On the last day of summer camp Jeff asked her to go out with him, but with Andrew over her shoulder pressing her into this relationship she didn't want she said yes even though she wouldn't be happy. The rest of the summer she was miserable, and she felt awful because Mark means the world to her, but because she was pressured into this relationship with Jeff things between the duo would never be the same.

                 It was finally time to go back to school, the day Delilah dreaded the most. The whole day she did all she could to avoid Mark, but she was unsuccessful he found her heading to the bus at the end of the day. That's when everything came crashing down around them, he had heard rumors that she was cheating, so he confronted her. She sadly said yes and said goodbye to Mark who had became her best friend, so for the next few months she became super depressed and missed him like crazy and just wanted him back in her life. little did she know things would start to look better for them...

What will happen in the next chapter? Will Mark and Delilah make up? Or will the two find different people?

Also side note: I do not know how often I will release chapters so just hang in there. I am doing the best I can to balance this and school :) 

Another thing to note because this is based off of a true story there are some parts that i do know know what it was like for "mark" because I'm working with "delilah," so I'm sorry if you want to know more about his side of the story I truly do not know.
