Six

~My protector~

Chenle pov
~lunch time~
I was normally talking with my friends until we got startled when someone just slammed our table.

"hey chenle." he said with a stern voice.
"im getting impatient now" he sighed in frustration as he went beside me.
"i have the answer now" he smiled and my friends looked at me worriedly.
"i dont like you hyung" his smile faded and saw my friends breathed in relief.
"i waited for you for fucking weeks and i still got a no?!" he yelled getting the attention of all the students in the cafeteria.
"i already like someone hyung, and ive confirmed it already" i exclaimed making him more mad.

"you just played with me!" he was about to punch me but good thing someone caught his fist.
I was surprised as i saw jisung standing right infront of me strongly gripping the fist of the person who was about to hurt me a second ago.
"are you looking for a fight little brat?" lucas threatened .
"if thats what you call it then why not?" jisung calmly answered.
"why are you protecting the one you are bullying anyway? Your supposed to be helping me than that shit" lucas spatted.
"dont say things upside down hyung... I dont care what everyone describes me to be, but atleast im doing the right thing" jisung fired back as he received an expected punch on his right cheek.

His cheek bleeded and made a scratch but he still managed to return and dodge punches from lucas hyung until his friends joined together with lucas friends until their fight became hot in the cafeteria.
"Renjun call the council!" i shouted as i ran towards the two and tried to stop them for getting any further.
"Stop it!!!" i yelled multiple times but was ignored, not until Lucas hyung pushed me off making my butt fall into the ground and caught jisungs attention. before jisung can help me lucas caught him and punched him in his stomach knocking out the air from him as he crouched down on the floor.

"jisung!!!" i shouted as i saw the council pulling lucas and the students out of the cafeteria as they stopped the fight.
"jisung dont give up okay... You'll be fine... This is all my fault im sorry" i said with tears present in my eyes.
"C-chenle" he said weakly.
"i-i... L-love you o-ok...." he mumbled but enough for me to hear it and became speechless.
I panicked as i noticed that jisung fainted already in my arms.
The principal carried him and drived fastly towards the nearest hospital to get him treated.

I fished my phone from my pocket as i called mom's number with trembling hands.

~~on call~~
'hello mom!" i cried.
"chenle whats wrong?" mom asked from the other side of the phone with worry visible in her voice.
"Ji-Jisung is at the hospital... He caught on a fight because of me" i sobbed.
"Chenle which hospital?"
"*** hospital is the nearest hospital here in the university" i managed to answer.
"ill call mrs park and go there... Go watch over him sweetie we'll be there in a few minutes... Dont worry he'll be fine" mom assured as she ended the call.

"Chenle are you ok? What happened?" Renjun and haechan ran towards me.
"jisung is at the hospital and i have to go there fast" i said as i run towards the exit, luckily i caught a taxi easily.
"to the ***hospital please" i said as the driver drove to my destination. Once i arrived i payed the taxi and ran towards the receptionist.
"Excuse me, may i know if their is someone named Park Jisung being brought here earlier?" i asked as she looked at her computer.
"yes sir... He is still at the emergency room"
"thank you" i bowed before i ran up towards the emergency room trying to find my protector.

I continued searching until i found him laying down in the bed with bandages wrapped around his skin and tubes connected on his mouth.
"why are you here chenle?" i looked up at the person and realize it was our principal.
"im sorry i started their fight mr. Principal" i bowed down 60 degrees until he just patted my back making me stand straight up.
"you two are not gulity as i saw what happened earlier through the cctv chenle... Dont worry ill make sure lucas will never ever do this again" he assured as he left me alone with jisung.

I moved closer and sat beside him as i held his hand and started crying..
"jisung wake up already! Thank you for protecting me earlier but you dont have to get this far... I hate seeing you in this situation... I-i love you too jisung... My protector"
