Claire's P.O.V

I always loved having campfires as a child so it was only fitting that I would have five fireplaces in my house. (There was one in my room, the guest room, the living room, and my office.) Curently I was lounging by one, wrapped in an old quilt, and thinking about the boy in my dream.  It was one of those times when you get lost in your own imagination and drift off into a light nap.

Dream #2

I was still wearing the same dress but my hair was free from its braid. Kneeling on the boulder I swept my hands through the cool water and inhaled the fall breeze.  Scanning my surroundings, my eyes fell upon a certain brown-haired boy. I waved enthusiastically at Liam and beckoned for him to come over. He pointed at the water. Oh. There was nothing leading out to my solitary boulder.  It would be really nice if I was on a dock, instead.

Suddenly, the scene shifted. Squeaking, I lost my balance and flopped into the lake. When I resurfaced, Liam was sitting on a wood dock with his feet in the water and no shirt on.  He was smiling and I was thinking I might pass out if he didn't stop being so damn gorgeous.  Then I realized he was shaking with laughter as well and the annoyance set in.  Quickly swimming towards him (my gown had magically been replaced by a one-piece bathing suit.) I gathered a mouthful of the clear water. Liam was still cackling when I reached the dock, but I successfully shut him up with a jet-stream to the face.

That'll teach him to laugh at my embarassment.  He looked at me incredulously.  "How dare you!" Liam exclaimed, a look of faux-indignance on his puppy face. I giggled and climbed up on to the dock.

"Hi." I bumped my shoulder into his.

"Hi." He said in a high-pitched voice and bumped me back.

"Ha ha." We settled into a comfortable silence as we enjoyed the scenery.  The sky was scattered with puffy white clouds and the sun was shining down on us, warming my damp skin.  I laid back on the dock, arms covering my eyes.  "You know, you never did tell me about yourself." I peeked up at him through my arms.

"I didnt't know you still wanted to know." Liam shrugged and laid down next to me. Oh my lord, his abs. I forced myself to look away from his toned body and focused on his face. "Of course I do! I mean, I did basically bare my soul to you last time. So, I think I deserve at least a little information."

"Oh, you think so?" He asked.

"Mmhmm." I hummed as a reply.

"Okay." And so he did. Liam told me about his parents and his hometown and his crazy brother. He told me about his old high-school, or as he called it: secondary school. He also told me about his band. There were five members, all boys and it was called One Direction. I was surprised. He didn't seem like the singer type. More of a hot nerd to me.  He told me how the boys (Harry, Niall, Louis, and Zayn) were always pulling pranks on him and being stupid. He smiled a lot when he talked about them.

We talked for what seemed like forever and whenever it got too hot we simply jumped in the lake.
