The Sleepover Part 5

(Y/N's P.O.V.): 

I finally got home after about a couple of minutes of walking and came to realize that my mom was working late at the hospital, she's an assistant to a surgeon, so she worked a lot. Ever since my father passed away on the table to another surgeon, when I was 8, she vowed to do everything she can to never lose a patient. She's had about one or two deaths on the table, but out of the hundred's of lives she's saved, that was amazing.  

I walk into my room upstairs, when I hear the WOW notification from my phone. 

Felix: Hey y/n...

Y/N: Hey Felix, is everything okay? 

Felix never uses the three dots after his texts, unless something was up with him.

Felix: umm...did you listen to the song I sent you? 

Y/N: yes, is that all you want to tell me tho?

Felix: no...

Y/N: what's up dude?

Felix: it's just that my step-dad is being an asshole again://

Y/N: What's his problem with you, he's always treating you like that??

Felix: yk he's always like this with me cuz I look like my dad, basically "his arch enemy" ever since my mom left my dad and married that stupid guy

Y/N: :// i hate him

Felix: so do I.....anyways, is it okay if I sleepover at ur house? 

Y/N: ummm, i'll ask my mom, but I'm sure she'll let you, you've been over before

Felix: okie

(Y/N's P.O.V.) 

I call my mom really quickly and of course she let's Felix come over, she knows how it is with his stupid excuse of a stepdad. I text him and wait for him to drive over.

(Felix's P.O.V.): 

After, Y/N told me it was okay to sleepover, I quickly grab a blanket and pillow, my clothes for the next school day, backpack, tooth brush and phone of course. I sneak out the back of the house so that my stepdad wouldn't see me leave and call me a coward or little b*tch for the millionth time. 

(Time pass)

I get to Y/N's house and knock on the door. Y/N quickly opens the door. 

"Hey Felix" she says as she grabs some of my things to help me carry them inside. "Hey Y/N" I say kind of low since I was still in a shitty mood. She notices that I'm in a sad mood so when we go inside she hugs me very tightly and says, "Just know you're loved Lixie". It honestly made my heart jump out of chest and I smiled. 

I wish she knew I really and truly loved her too... She didn't say anything about the song I sent either which is kind of disappointing, but I don't want to lose her to Hyunjin. 

We go upstairs to her room and put my things down. 

"Are you hungry Lixie?" she asks me. "Not so much"

"How about a snack?" 

"sure" I say, as she goes to her little snack drawer that she keeps below her desk. Y/n hands me some popcorn since it's her favorite snack.

We're sitting on her bed when she asks me what happened between my stepdad and I today.

"well..." I say, "h-he got mad because I told my mom I was applying to colleges, and she looked up at me.....and got teary eyed because she said I was "growing up" and...and said.. I look a lot like my dad...which made her cry" 

"what does that have to do with you?" 

"I guess since I reminded her of my dad, my stepdad started being rude to me, calling me a little b*tch for making my mother cry". My voice starts to break, "an-and it's not m-my fault I look like my dad...it's n-not my f-fault that he cheated on her, and s-she left him". With that I start crying...

(Y/N's P.O.V.): 

Poor Felix and the shitty life he has... I feel so bad for him and there's nothing I can really do to help him...only let him stay at my place from time to time and comfort him.

I get closer to him as he starts to cry and hold him in my arms as he cries into my shoulder. Ever since we were kids, I vowed to always be there for him, he's my best friend. 

"Why do I have to have dead excuses as dads" "why do I feel like I'm nothing to everyone? Do I even belong here?" he says, which broke my heart. 

I grab his face gently to face me. 

"Hey Lixie, look at me" "You are one of the most sweetest, the most amazing boys on this planet, you're always there for me when I need you the most, you'd fight someone way bigger than you for me and the people you care about. You would walk through the deepest pits of hell for the ones you care about. You're crazy smart, and not to mention very cute. You are beyond the worth of diamonds and gold. My love for you is endless, don't you dare think of leaving Earth. If I lost you, I don't know how I would function, not having my best friend by my side, you've been there for most of my life, please don't leave now" 

He leans in and I hug him tightly. 

(Felix's P.O.V.):  

I lean in to kiss Y/N, but she immediately moves her head to the side to hug me, and hugs me tightly. 

I can't believe I was about to do that. I don't know if it was my feelings for her that wanted to jump to conclusions after hearing those words, or the way my face was close to her beautiful one, or maybe both. 

As we finish hugging, she says that she's tired and goes to change into comfortable clothing. I was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt already, so I didn't need to change. 

She comes back after a while, and climbs into her bed next to me, her bed is pretty big so there's a space between us, but I don't dare get closer to her. I turn off the lamp next to her bed and she says goodnight, and I reply back with "sweet dreams". 

I begin staring at the ceiling...

(Time pass)

Should I tell Y/N how I feel about her? If she really loves me that much, perhaps she has feelings for me too?

"Hey, Y/N" I say as I gently tap her shoulder.

"mhm?" she says, but still turned to the side with her eyes closed. 

"I like you, like love you, truly like you"

"mhhm" she says again, sounding half asleep but I think she heard me. 

"goodnight love" I say.

With that I turn to the side and drift off to sleep.
