I was on my way back to the bar when someone ran into me, it was a boy with crimson red hair and eyes so blue they were nearly grey. He was covered in burns as well. He mumbled a sorry and looked up to see who they had hit. When they saw who it was they tensed up. I reached out a gloved hand, two of the five fingers missing, and he hesitantly took it. "I-I'm sorry. I should've watched where I was going." He said. "Yes you should've." I said as I retracted my hand. "But I suppose it's okay." I said. I looked him up and down. His clothes where muddied and torn he had a duffle bag on his shoulder and his shoes looked to be thrown on in a haste. He looked scrawny, like thinner than me, and his hair was spiky and dirty. I immediately realized what was going on...he's a ran away. "Where are you going in such a hurry?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders and sighed. "Don't really know. Just away." He mumbled. Kuriguri was pestering me about finding other villains....maybe he could be useful. "What's your name kid?" I asked. "Its...Dabi....and I'm not a kid. I'm 19." He said. "Dabi? What the hell kind of name is that?" I asked. He shrugged once more. "What's yours?" He asked. "Tomura Shigarki." I said. "How would like come stay with me? I mean you don't seem to have anywhere else to be." I asked/said. "Uh sure." He said. "Follow me." I said. I started walking and glanced behind me to make sure he was following me. He was. "Why'd you run away?" I asked as we reached the door of the bar. He froze and looked away. "I-I uh didn't." He said. I turned around and gave him a 'don't dick around with me' look. "I just....don't want to talk about it." He mumbled. I shrugged my shoulders. It's not really my business so I have no idea why I even asked. I turned around and opened the door. "After you." I said. He walked in then moved over to let me in. "Kuriguri." I said. He waved his hand from behind the bar counter. "Over here Shigarki." He said. I walked over to the bar and sat down on the stool while Dabi awkwardly sat beside me. "Who's this?" He asked. "Said his names Dabi." I said. "Oh hello Dabi, I'm Kuriguri." He said. Dabi waved his hand and dropped his duffle bag beside him. "Pass me a drink." I said. Kuriguri slid me a small glass of whiskey and turned his attention to Dabi. "Can I get you anything to drink?" He asked. "Uh...water?" He said it like a question. Kuriguri went over to the fridge and got a bottle of water out and handed to him. "Thank you." He mumbled. "You're welcome." Kuriguri said. "So...Dabi are you planing on leaving anytime soon?" I asked. "I don't know. As I said before I haven't anywhere to go really." He said. He started fiddling with his fingers and he looked down at the bar counter. "Just wanted leave...ya know." He said. I nodded my head. "Maybe you could stay with us for a while. I mean we do need new recruits anyhow and seeing as how you've got no where to go.....it's just a thought." I said. He nervously tapped his fingers together and nodded his head. "W-w-what exactly do I have to do?" He asked and glanced up at me nervously. "Do you honestly have no idea who I am?" I asked. He looked down and folded and unfolded his hands a few times. "Y-Yes I know who you are..." He mumbled. "Then you what I do." I said. He nodded his head. "Y-Yeah." He said. "Then why the bloody hell did ask." I said with a chuckle. "I'm a villain so obviously your going to be doing villainy shit.....eventually.....for now however I'm working on building a....team?.....a league." I said. He didn't say anything he just nodded his head once more. I sighed and stood up. "Follow me." I said. He stood up and grabbed his bag. "Where are we going?" He asked as I led him through a hallway. "I'm showing to your room." I said. I opened a door and let him walk in. He looked around the room and sat his bag down on the bed. "It's not much, but it should do for the time being." I said. He nodded his head and he had a slight smile on his face. "This is bigger than any room I've ever had." He said and looked around the room again. I furrowed my brows and crossed my arms. "Where the hell did you come from kid? And who the hell were your parents?" I asked. He looked at me and his expression darkened. "Doesn't matter." He said. I felt a tinge of guilt, but shook it off. "Um Kuriguri is cooking. It'll be done in a bit, so if you're hungry just come down." I said. "Okay." He mumbled. I gently shut the door and left. Just what the hell is up with that kid? He seems...terrified, skittish, he's constantly apologizing for something.....even he did nothing wrong. He's covered in burns and cuts... I was so deep in thought that I hadn't realized I started scratching my neck until I felt calloused hands grab mine. I looked up in shock and saw Dabi. "You shouldn't do that." He said as he brought his other hand to my neck. "It's bad for you." He whispered. "How-Why did you touch my hands? Don't you know that I could've killed you? What would've happened if I didn't have my gloves on?" I asked. He smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "I wasn't thinking." He said. He let go of my hands and moved his hand off my neck.
